About Me

© layoutsbykt I'm happy and fulfilled. I love my honey, husband Emmanuel, my family, my friends, my precious dog Mimi, and my life in general. I like to explore the world to the best of my financial ability & have been to Scotland (my favorite), England (lived there for awhile where I met my sweetheart), Ireland, Wales, Iceland, Italy, Russia, France, Canada, Holland, Bahrain &, best of all, road tripped cross-country USA (46 out of 48 continental states!). I'm an "artist" who does not take herself too seriously. I believe everything in life is a blessing, even when it may not appear to be. I am so thankful to God for the wonderful blessings He has given me.

My Interests

In no particular order: travel (especially road tripping across country!), art, human rights, fun, history, culture, blah, blah. Truth, Beauty, and above all, LOVE.

I'd like to meet:

shiny happy people holding hands

Music:

I love music and the Beatles are my favorite. But mostly I love hearing Emmanuel sing his operatic heart out to Bocelli.

Movies:

I will watch a movie I enjoy a dozen times and it never gets old. I love anything that pulls emotion out of me in a powerful way, whether it be laughter, tears, fear or critical thought. I love going to the cinema and being moved. Some faves: Gone With the Wind, Moulin Rouge, Cinema Paradiso, and any Shirley Temple, especially "Poor Little Rich Girl." All must watch 'March of the Penguins' and learn to respect the penguin!!

Television:

TiVo is my friend. I Love Lucy will always be my all time fave. Lost is wonderful as is Planet Earth. Desperate Housewives is entertaining. Seinfeld reruns. Oprah is the best tv personality on today, and Dr. Phil is so smart. I enjoy watching Melrose Place reruns. John Stewart's Daily Show and BBC World News are the best news sources :) Ab Fab never disappoints. But American Idol is awesome.

Books:

Reading is the finest form of entertainment and the best way to learn and experience other people's sitiuations and their reactions. My favorite author is Paulo Coelho. The Bad Girl's Guide to the Open Road has taught me so much useful and fun information, I recommend it to all you girls out there.

Heroes:

All those unknown brave people fighting for human rights in their countries around the world, surviving with their dignity. my grandparents. Emmanuel. My mom. The late Monsignor Robert Saccoman (Father Bob). And, above all, Jesus. God is Love.
