Born: 12 March 1964, Budapest Occupation: (classical and rock) guitar artist and composer Qualifications: Ferenc Liszt College of Music, guitar major, student of Laszlo Szendrey-Karper, artist/teacher degree in 1991. Bands (since 1979): Carat (1981), Varga Miklos Band (1982), Senator (1985), Szekeres Tamas Project (from 1988), Omen (1991-93), Tamas (since 1994), Omega (since 1994) Concerts (selection): Classical guitar concerts in Hungary and Europe since 1993. Rock concerts in Hungary, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Austria, the USA (in Ken Tamplin’s band) and on tour in Europe with Tony MacAlpine. Performed and recorded with several major Hungarian and international bands and artists: East (1990), Deep Purple (1991), Gabor Presser (1994–95), Ian Parry (1998), Ildiko Keresztes (1999), Ferenc Balazs (1999), and Omega (1994-) Compositions: His first piece of work published in 1982 on the single titled Europa, songwriter on several albums, his first solo record out in 1989.
