SCARY STORY by CHRISTY DAVIS

‘Why hadn’t they listened? What were they trying to prove?’ She shook the thoughts from her head. A tear escaped the corner of her eye and she wiped it away. As soon as they realized Elyse had the key to the front door, her friends wanted it. They begged for it!

So she took them in the middle of the day. Just like they wanted. She turned the key in the lock and shoved the door open. Just like they wanted. And as they stepped inside, the house seemed to swallow them in darkness. Elyse watched until the very last one was gone, then she closed the door and left them to the house. Just like they wanted.

I'd like to meet:

I'm here to network and meet friends of all ages and to find some of my high school buds from California. If I can. I like people who like people. I love kids and animals, writing, gardening, fishing, camping, swimming, cooking, dancing, acting, being creative in some sort and going to the movies. (Going to the movies is one of my weaknesses.) I love action packed, full of adventure - fast, scary (not tooooo scary) funny, secret agent, spy, motivating, fast cars, fast jets, fast motorcycles, pirates, swordfights, treasure hunts, ghosts and goulies, space adventures and lots of other types of movies.

NOT ALL WHO WANDER . . . ARE LOST

Don't talk trash to me. I'm not into it. I am here to make friends and network. I will delete you.

I've currently written and four books for kids ages eight and up. They include: The Mountain of Stone, Newshounds, Edgar and Scary Story.

My childrens books are fiction and full of mystery, adventure, fun and excitement. They're thrilling, chilling, scary, spooky and funny. They're about treasure hunts, pirates, caves, mountain men, monsters, scary monsters, possessed houses, good ghosts, bad ghosts, girls, boys, dogs, cats, rats, bats, agents, secret agents, spies, kid reporters, good guys, bad guys, graveyards, caveboys, dinosaurs, saber-tooth tigers, notes in bottles, haunted mansions, secret passageways, stormy nights and action packed days. The kids find themselves jumping, running, being chased, running, hiding, falling, (a lot of screaming and running,) setting booby traps, spying on people, inventing things, reporting and writing stories, investigating, problem solving, and solving mysteries. They learn how to depend on each other. They attend funerals and weddings, blow up science labs, sword fight with pirates, build rafts, swim, dive off yard arms, capture ghosts, solve old mysteries, create fire and weapons, fish, play chess and still manage to stay alive so I can bring them all back again for part II.These are fun filled, action packed, mystery adventures. Your kids will love them! :)

THE MOUNTAIN OF STONE by CHRISTY DAVIS

What would you do if you found a message in a bottle? One that foretold of treasure and death? Could you find it? Would you even try? And, if you figured it out, would you have the courage to go after it?

Puzzled by the scrap of paper she finds sealed inside an old bottle, Jenny begins to question if the note is even real? Who was Gus? Who was after him? What kind of treasure was it? Thus-the adventure begins!

Join seven kids on an adventure inside ‘The Mountain of Stone.’

NEWSHOUNDS by CHRISTY DAVIS

Jadee has dreamed about becoming a reporter for as long as she can remember. Suddenly at the age of fourteen her dream job lands right in her lap. On assignment for her local hometown newspaper, she and her co-reporter Scott stumble across an old graveyard mystery.

In 1942 a fire had completely destroyed a home, taking the entire Bentley family with it. Seven headstones rest in the cemetery, but only six names were ever listed in the paper. Who was Melissa J?

Between collecting pieces of this mystery and the everyday adventures of life, Jadee and Scott are determined to find out.

Heroes:

My son and my daughter.

AND anyone who can stand-up to life and the bullies of this world. The people who hurt others and cause people pain. It's one of the toughest things to do in life. It takes great strength, sometimes every ounce of strength you can muster. And sometimes it feels like you won't make it through but you just gotta keep going. Stand-up and take the bull by the horns. Face things head on as they come at you.

I admire anyone who can just stand-up!
