I am the co-owner of Nightshade Clothing. I do everything from designing to pattern cutting, making and selling the garments, along with my friend and business partner Marloes. Originally from South Africa, I now live in England with my husband and lots of pets! I am very interested in Victoriana, corsetry and creating beautiful images with clothing. I spend a lot of time studying esoteric subjects and almost always have my nose in a book, when Iâ€™m not busy with orders for Nightshade.

My all time favourite bands are Garden of Delight, Fields of the Nephilim, Sopor Aeternus, Drown for Resurrection,Artica,Diary of Dreams and Cinema Strange..there are many many more, I could not live without music, and my tastes range from old school goth all the way through to the occasional noize!!

Movies:

The Vampires Kiss, The Wisdom of Crocodiles,Quills, Naked Tango,Dobermann,Ridicule,Brotherhood of the Wolf, Betty Blue, Bitter Moon..the list goes on and on...

Books:

Books are another major thing in my life, essential as breathing. I adore the work of Dion Fortune,Freda warrington, Storm Constantine,Kim Wilkins, John Connolly,Poppy Z Brite, and Natasha Mostert but to name a few.
