About Me
Plates and Mammy, enjoy life.. in very odd ways.
And we are here to tell you how, and why.
You will never catch us taking pictures with our drinks,
or calling eachother Rockstars in any way shape, or form.
Mammy and Plates, are not your typical teenagers.
It's like were jointed at the brain.
We spend late nights, not lit listening to Miles Davis,
but watching movies, and eating Mammys' specialty popcorn,
while soothing in that nice cup of joe.
Some day, you will not see us in a Covergirl magazine,
or into a size zero in pants,
But in a little apartment in Chicago, touring with our band.
Mammy and Plates, do not have the same glasses.
We are not the same person.
We are individuals, enjoying our similarities.
Entertaining ourselves, comes quite easy.
Balancing water bottles on our heads, is a great example.
By the way, our real names are Harley Pfeifer, and Meg Yappy. haha.
We do not enjoy Spiderman because it's the cool thing to do.
We will soon wear him on our backs,
and continue shopping for him in dollar stores.
So stop doing it cause you think it's cool.
Enjoy his presence.
Agyrophobia is fear of crossing streets.
Yes, we are afraid to cross the street.
As you've seen in the banner below,
We like to keep in touch with our vowels.
It's not fun when they leave.
Wearing a million marti graw beads,
having hude gawdy Hello Kitty necklaces, and
hair clips, makes you look a little weird, and sometimes
it seems that everyone is liking them cause its the cool thing to do.
Don't get us wrong, we believe liking
Hello Kitty, The Peanuts, TMNT, Spiderman, ect.
Is okay, if you actually like it,
not just because its like 'cool' thing to do.
Dirty is Mammys boyriend, as Nathan is Plates'.
Also, Mammy has this scary fantasy obsession with Orlando Bloom.
Its entertaining.
Harley & Meg are spontaneous.
They come up with one idea after the next.
Like, parading through the house killing an army of ants.
Quite fun.
Having a seperate myspace for you and your best friend,
is not the cool new thing to do.
We are here to tell you what we believe.
We are not here to change your mind,
but to inform you on what our joined minds are like.
Shopping at thrift stores and such does not mean
you're poor, it means you like clothing.
There are millions of invisible children out there, who need our help.
Whos parents aren't involved in their lives.. and who don't have homes.
Donating your old clothes to the goodwill is making a huge difference.
Think about it.
We would like to tell teenagers, to be themselves. Enjoy life.
Keep safe. If you have any problems... talk to us, or to a friend.
We'll always be here to listen, no doubt.
Suicide is a terrible thing. And happens often with teenagers.
Save a life.
Life's short...Talk fast.

"How many people do you know that are actually "normal"?
That are completely level-headed, love perfectly,
don't have mood swings, love god, tip well,
dont shoot heroin, dont hit people,
treat their parents with respect, are totally responsible, never impulsive,
financially reliable, consistently sober, completely trustworthy,
that kiss foreheads, buy flowers, never forget,
always remember, trim their nose hair, know exactly what they want out of life,
are diplomatic, get to work on time, open doors and dont call you names?..Exactly."
-Chris Gutierrez
"I hate the word, Rockstar.
All that shit died in the eighties,
and needs to stay there."
-Adam Lazzara
"Fuck damnation. Fuck redemption. We are God's unwanted
children, with no
special place and no special attention,
and so be it."
-Tyler Durden, Fight Club.
"Friends are as companions on a journey,
Who ought to aid each other to persevere
in the road to a happier life."
-Author, Pythagoras
"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be
made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."
-Harvey Fierstein
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
-Oscar Wilde
