About TiliBop:
It was a blissful day in September that a soon-to-be legend in the making was born. Meet “Tilibopâ€, a “singer’s singer†- - a young man with a strong passion for the music he so eloquently projects. Tilibop is destined to blaze trails world-wide, leaving many to emulate the prodigy that he is. Christened Marvin Tarano Amos, Tilibop was born on September 3, 1979 in the hills of St. Catherine, Jamaica. He was the son of a single mom who was determined to give her only child at the time the best she could. With the struggle of raising a child alone, Marvin’s mother brought him to August Town, where Tilibop would live with his grandparents while she migrated to the USA in an effort to make life better for her family. Growing accustomed to the fast pace of the city life, young Marvin took to music. As he grew older, the pressure of the Community forced Tilibop to place his love for music high on his “Aspiration’s Listâ€. Trying to fit into his new community, Tilibop learned early on that “life in the ghetto†was not easy, as the song sung by Leroy Smart would express. Experiencing first-hand the gang violence, turf warfare, corruption from politicians and police brutality were some of the pitfalls that encapsulated Tilibop. Also, by losing a family member to violence, this young artiste was determined to not lose sight. While attending Mona High School, his love for music still burned deep. Tilibop started singing again. It was there where he received the pet name Tilibop. Upon graduation, Tillibop enrolled into the Continuing Studies of Arts and did very well before migrating to the States. It is in America where Tilibop began to voice songs and produce while realizing his dream as an artiste. Tilibop is destined for greatness with the release of his first major release “Ghetto Townâ€, where he gives a glimpse of the world from whence he came. With exceptional vocals and tight production, “Ghetto Town†is sure to be Street anthem - - straight up banger!!! So listen out for Tilibop! He’s coming to bring it hard to your Town, every Town, “Ghetto Townâ€!
