Dear fans, the time has come that Rotten Cross is no longer a band. We have decided to go our seperate ways. I, Listan, shall take over Rotten Cross as my solo project. Since I wrote and recorded everything on the previous two albums, things shall not change musically. However, I shall not be doing shows until I get good and dedicated musicians to join Rotten Cross. This band is not dead nor shall it ever will be. This is why I am now in the process of writing songs to include on the upcoming Rotten Cross demo. The songs have been written by Satan himself through me. To all those who are interested, below is the biography of Rotten Cross.
Rotten Cross was around for quite a while. However, the line up was never stable. The founder of this band is Listan. Other members were Brian and Gotika, Sheldon, Mike, and Rick. Rotten Cross is a heavy yet atmospheric Black/Death Metal band. We liked to experiment with different styles and sometimes end up bending the line. Our lyrics were about different views on after life, fantasy, and the beauty of death. After that, Listan was doing a solo project. Nothing was different however, no shows were played. He had Nagasha sing opera vocals for the album "Architecture of Pagan Tragedies". Listan and Gotika joined up together again and this relationship lasted over a year. They then found a session member, Derek, for live performances. The band attempted to join the battle of the bands and succeeded. However, Derek and Gotika have decided to part with the band. After this sad event and the departure of a long time member, Gotika, Listan had decided to take this band as a solo project. Currently, all positions are open for musicians other than a bass and vocalist. Albums will still be released though.
