Jonathan Polanco aka Jonny Rockz is the essence of the Hollywood Poster Child. He is the total complete package of lyrical skill, striking physical features, and an infectious personality. Music is not just a hobby for Jonny Rockz, it is life. Like many artists who claim to have heart for the industry Jonny has proven this through his dedication to making things happen. He will do anything to advance his career. When any door opens he has taken advantage of it whether he had to take a bus, ride the train, or go days without sleeping, he wont miss any opportunity given him. Jonny's drive has been developed because he started doing music when he was (14?) . In addition to his dedications, Jonny's personality defines who he is as a star. He is the energetic, happy, and the most vocal person in every situation. Jonny's ability to connect with the crowd and get energy flowing is a rare gift many envy. Jonny's lyrical skill and delivery is a reflection of who he is. He has great lyrical ability and can rap to any occasion or beat. The greatest attribute to his music is he is continually growing with skill and ability. You can see a progression of skill from older tracks to new. Not only can he rap in English but has a duel market with his abilities to rap in Spanish as well. Being bilingual has allowed Jonny to touch multiple markets gaining love and respect from all cultures. Not only is Jonny's commitment to growing lyrically seen, but Jonny is also focused on his personal development as a person. For being such a naturally gifted and loved person, Jonny remains humble and is always striving to learn more. He reads books and seeks the advice of mentors who have established lifestyles. What makes Jonny unique to others trying to make it in the industry is his physical appearance. He is the heart throb for young and old. Jonny has been blessed genetically but is on a rigorous workout program getting him more fit and complete with an all-around sex appeal.Jonny's style and appearance allow him to blend in with all of the different hip-hop crowds. He comes from the streets and knows that culture very well. He never had the glamorous lifestyle growing up. He was born in Italy by immigrant?? parents coming from the Dominican Republic. He is respected by his peers in the streets for his ability to overcome adversity and his expression of the streets through his music. He is also loved by the mainstream rap fan because he also brings a sound that is catchy and universal. Nothing can compare to Jonny's ability to get the crowd going with his live performance. Once he grabs the mic, an unexplainable energy flows throughout the crowd and instantaneously everybody starts moving. His ability to connect with the fans is unprecedented. Jonny grew up in Watsonville California where he met Cali B (Brian Williams) at age 15 and began working together on songs in cali's home studio. Jonny Rockz & Cali B are the original Cali-Movement and the first two members of the HollaFame. "HOLLAFAME" is a very talented group that the world aint ready for. The HollaFame's debute album "HOLLAFAMOUS" is droping in 2008 and will feature some of the games hotest known names in the rap game, as well as some of the best new artists from California and in the World.
