physiology and sexuality. tactile memories and occurances. nostalgic events, places, times, smells and sounds. colors, shapes and shadows. wrapping it all up in one sensational experience to call upon from memory in a quiet time. taking photos. morning coffee talk with my sunshine love. cloudy afternoon book readings and naps. bird songs, dewy grass, citronella candles, rock garden mirrors and secret hiding places. i like to bake too.
henry miller here and now. free thinkers, creative, compulsive, impulsive, patient, passionate, pensive, good spellers, or bad spellers who like to play scrabble. how about ralph eugene meatyard? people who make eye contact. friendly folk, people who speak, people who share and people who don't always do as they are told.
the soundtrack at present contains red house painters, tom waits, joan armatrading, kings of convenience, bjork, the jesus and marychain, paul simon, aimee mann, beck, tosca, bonobo, amy winehouse, marimba!, saw the goodies recently, wow, i've been missing out on some incredible fun!

very much looking forward to reading rasputin at bedtime... i love reading books on physiology and sexuality. not much fiction these days, although i look forward to being grabbed by something to take me away. all time favorites: john irving, henry miller 'the rosy crucifixion'(nexus, sexus, plexus), anais nin, harry crews, russel banks, nabokov, jeffrey euginides, t.s. eliot, and thoreau on spirituality. i always enjoy the sun magazine - check it out, great writing and black and white photos.
