In the moments I feel the need to be busy, I love to run, mountain and road bike, swim at the YMCA, or simply step down the stairs of my house and do a gentle or vigerous yoga practice. I love reading many things at one time. My bedside is so busy with no-brainer fiction, nonfiction that keeps me wanting to read it; mostly because I am able to relate to it in someway or the other, magazines that have great healthy articles that allow me to keep learning in little blogs, and catalogs I didn't get a chance to look through at the mail box. I love taking my time to do whatever I am doing. That is an intrest to me, to do things slowly and thouroughly. My true pleasure lies in wood work and putting things together again. Not only the puzzles of all existance, the anatomy of the human body, but of course the puzzle and appreciation of life.
I wouldn't particularly like to meet anyone. I just want to reunite with the lost folks of my life and those that are found~ You know, the people you never really gave the chance to get to know going through school or traveling and now, more evolved, you think of those persons speratically. I am very happily married (most of the time anyway) -- ain't look'n no man... or woman. Thank ya anyway. All of you who have ever known me or know me now, come on! what are you waiting for? 658-4550
I love classical, Jazz: Nina Simone, Billy Holiday, Miles Davis, Blues, good old country music ie: J. Cash, Willie, Hank Sr., was raised on Rock n'roll (of course) and country. Still love it. Love instrumental old MMW, Bela, etc... ) environmental musicians ie: Ravi Shankar (love the citar), most all music really. Just not hard rock, not loud, nervous system shockers. can't deal. Maybe back in the day- but getting older really does influence music intrest for me.
TV: uh... pbs, sienfield, boston legal, studio 60. and when I'm at homes or hotels that have cable, this old house and trading spaces- We watch movies, but not a lot of tv or movie. (uh-ummm, i have gotten "my shows" this season though:))
I can't read a book all the way through unless it stays interesting; the moment it begins to bore me, if it must last, it's a goner! I like self help books, yoga books, Non-fictional fiction... You know, those plots that are just rearranged a bit.
the Dali Lama, my father, all who devote their life and money to causes that assist in others lives (without encouraging religion and faith based practices to do so), and mostly, god.
