Hi my name is Donna. I am a 40 year old weighing in at 225 pounds. Like most of you I have been on 100 diets. Although they have worked, I always ended up getting bored and slowly but surely the pounds creeped back on. And as alot of you know once your over 35 it gets harder and harder to find the energy to keep this thing going. I've always been a person who lost weight better in a group setting. Whether it was at the gym or just teaming up with friends. I designed this page for those of you who may not have friends or family memebers to share this journey with, to have a place to make friends with the same goals as yourself and for moral support and encouragement. For those of you who do have sistah friends and family members to share this journey with, I say lets all join together and have fun. Let's use this page to help one another whether it be a recipe you would like to share, a new exercise or just some encouraging words that we all need when we think we are about to give up. Some of you may just want to fit it to a new bathing suit or maybe you have health issues like high blood pressure or diabetes. Like me some of you may just want to be fierce, fine and fabulous by the time you hit forty. Whatever your reason is let us help one another in reaching our goals. WE DON'T HAVE TO BE CELERATIES TO HAVE A FIT CLUB!!

When we stand with others who can relate to our situation, we find a special strength that allows us to cope. Our Lord put us on earth to live together; to draw upon the strength that comes through fellowship. We have fellowship with one another and with God. He is with us wherever we may be. By His presence, He turns our weakness into strength and helps us hang on through the tough times.
