Just to be clear, I love Sports, Movies, Music, and Travelling. I actually like a whole slew of things, the main categories, if you need them, are the above.
In terms of SPORTS, my favorite Football team, is the:
CALIFORNIA GOLDEN BEARS!
After that, it's the:
49ers ,
SF Giants ,
Oakland A's ,
AND
The Pittsburgh Pirates (It's a long story).
In terms of Basketball, I've always been a Warriors fan, even through the bone-headed trades, bad play, and poor coaching. And then Nellie came back and we're in the playoffs. As of this writing, The Warriors are up 2 games to 1 on the Dallas Mavericks in the first round. This is just amazing and I'm thrilled. I hope they can keep up the intensity to get to the next level.
I also can't forget Rugby!! I know I only played 1+ season for the McGeorge Ducks, but I love the game. I usually watch the international matches, especially when the US Eagles play. You can't overlook the NCAA Rugby dynasty at CAL, tho.
GO BEARS!
George Lucas, Parminder Nagra, Phoebe Cates, Selma Hayak, Steven Spielberg, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Neil Armstrong, Cast of West Wing, Cast and Crew of Firefly & Serenity!
Coming Soon: Rugby World Cup 2007 - France

My trusty stand-bys are: Peter Gabriel, Sting, Afro Celts (aka Afro Celt Sound System), The Police, !Tang, U2, The Clash, The Specials, and Jellyfish.
When I'm in the mood, it's: Genesis, Janet Jackson, A Tribe Called Quest, Kansas, Buckshot le Fonque, Sonny Rollins, Me Phi Me, various Jpop, Barenaked Ladies.
For oldies, I'll listen to The Beatles [of course], The Beach Boys, Motown, and The Monkees [yes, the Monkees!].
I highly recommend Ozomatli's Street Signs.
I guess I should also mention that I'm a musician, of sorts. I can play the Piano, Clarinet, and Drums. I've been playing Electric Bass off and on for the past 3-4 years and am recently acquired an Ibanezmid-scale bass. It plays and sounds SOOOO much cleaner that I haven't even touched my ol' short scale in months. Now, maybe I start looking for people to play with ...
My favorites, so far, in no particular order:
Shaun of the Dead, Gross Pointe Blank, High Fidelity, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Free Enterprise, Swingers, Office Space, A Fish Called Wanda, The Commitments, Horsefeathers, Animal House, The Thin Man, The Incredibles, Seven Samurai, Necessary Roughness, Major League, Bend It Like Beckham, The Right Stuff, October Sky, The Dish, Space Cowboys, Batman Begins,Love Actually,Four Weddings and a Funeral.Harry Potter, andSerenity!

All Time Favorites (Current Series in BOLD): HOUSE, SCRUBS, CSI, LOST, MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, The West Wing, Firefly, Deep Space 9, Cheers, Wings, Friends, The Prisoner, Twilight Zone [The Original], Star Trek [TOS], Night Court, and Northern Exposure.
I highly recommend the following books from my READ list. These books just had a way of sticking with me, whether with cleverness, story and character, or just because:
God Knows, by Joseph Heller
The Thin Man, by Dashiell Hammet
A Long Way Down, by Nick Hornby
The Floating World, by Cynthia Kodohata
The Remains of the Day, by Kazuo Ishiguro
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams
Henry V, by William Shakespeare
The Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov
John Glenn, A Memoir by John Glenn
My current READ List is: The Death of King Arthur by Anonymous, High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby, The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde, The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler, The Grifters by Jim Thompson, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, The Prince by Niccolo Macchiavelli, The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis, and a collection of Phillip K. Dick short stories, which includes The Minority Report, and boy, did they really stretch the story for the movie. Still, good adaptation. It's very difficult to envision Phillip K. Dick stories as direct translations to the big screen, so kudos to those that have done it successfully.
I'm still working on Mutiny On The Bounty but started re-reading the last two Harry Potter books and will probably rewatch all of the movies, in order, over a weekend.
I'm also planning to read the following books over the next few weeks(not necessarily in order): the next two of Fforde's Thursday Next novels, The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe.
There's nothing like light reading to pass the time ...
