About Me

A bit about Fame

Having always had a talent for putting words together, Fame 24 year old rapper from North London made the decision to combine his talent and his passion during his first year at university. As a determined 18 year old student he decided to take care of his Plan B while working on his Plan A. Experiencing success as part of garage trio "Turn it up", while completing a degree in Media and Advertising, unbeknownst to him at the time something that would come in handy in his pursuit of his plan A.

Despite laying the foundations to a potentially huge garage group, Fame along with fellow "Turn it up" members Esteem and Lyracis as a group decided to part ways in order to develop as artists individually. In hindsight Fame sees this just "natural progression" however at the time he found himself caught in a transitional stage he wasn't an MC and yet not quite a Solo Artist. During this time Fame began to work hard at developing as an artist, working on is lyrics, Image and Angle. Making a lot of sacrifices along the way and struggling to find producers and beats that were on the same page as him. He was near exhaustion at times, but believed that he was on the right track (excuse the pun). Finally a "chance" meeting in the streets of North London with an old primary school friend and fellow developing artist (a young Delzie), lead to an introduction to TommyGun classically trained producer working with the newly formed Frivalous Entertainment team. The two began working together and the stage was set!

A bit about the Music

Working with Frivalous Entertainment, Fame and Critically acclaimed producer TommyGun have focussed on creating music that has both international appeal and at the same time maintains a UK sound we can claim as our own. Something that is hugely needed in the current urban climate. Being careful not to fall into the trap of "cloning" an overseas style in order to achieve commercial/mainstream success. The Frivalous Ent. team have worked hard on breaking down and understanding the elements involved in creating good music and sown them into the very fabric of each an every track off of Fame's forth coming "LAYERS" project.

On the surface Fame may seem all glitse and glamour and fun and games illustrated in "CLUB WITH ME"(first single of of of the Layers project) but start peeling back the layers (pun intended this time) and you soon see there's a deeper level to it/him ("GET-A-WAY" and "FORGIVE THEM" scheduled later releases). Each track on this eagerly awaited "LAYERS" project, is layer deeper than last sure to bring you closer to Fame.

A bit about the work

While developing and working on his own sound, FAME further honed his already magnetic performance skills by supporting fellow Frivalous Entertainment artist Delzie, this meant that he was able to keep one foot on the stage, and the other in the booth. Understanding the importance of being ready and having all bases covered BEFORE any attempted MOVEMENT, FAME has spent the last few years behind the scenes developing and fine tuning his first solo project "Layers". In it FAME illustrates that there's more to him then meets the eye.

After going through a countless of set backs, knock downs and disappointments Fame's refusal to lose can and has been likened to that of a relentless child. Believing anything is possible and reinforcing the notion that if you can dream it you can achieve it! His message is one of not only aiming for the skies, but for the STARS! "you can't fail, unless you stop trying!"

" Club With Me

First release from the completed Frivalous Entertainment's 'Layers' project, "Club With Me" promises to be the sound track of the summer!

Fame, Frivalous Ent.'s self proclaimed 'KID WITH THE KEY', is fronting the bill on this highly entertaining take on 'a night in the life'. With the help of lyrics like " I put my money where my mouth is, so now my money's on the bar and i'm laid out where the couch is! " and " They say the don't want a drink, but they do in the end, i know you're a bad girl but i'm 'a ruin your friend! " FAME and fellow Frivalous Ent. artist Delzie, both paint a lively, and at times tongue-in cheek picture of a night in the life.. of 'the kid', with scenarios and situations all to familiar with the average club go-er out to impress.
The Frivalous Ent. team have combined a Uniquely fresh musical score, Head Rockin' bass with the Clever yet Cocky vocals of FAME, to create a track that has both International quality, and at the same time represents and maintains a fresh a UK sound. With its radio friendly vibe and infectious chorus "CLUB WITH ME" is sure to HEAT UP the radio waves this summer!!!
