..There are too many to list here, so I'll save time by being vague and general. Reading, music, writing, film, comic books, mythology, philosophy, blah, blah, blah.
Like-minded individuals of a friendly persuasion. Or not. A good verbal row now and then is always a barrel of laughs.

..I absolutely adore film and cinema. A by-product of having no life; sure...but I can kick your ass at Trivial Pursuit and Scene It.
My top 3 favorites:
1. A Clockwork Orange
2. Apocalypse Now
3. Easy Rider.
I am also a big fan of action/cheeseball movies with minimal plot and character development. Some of my absolute favorites in this genre are:
Predator, The Boondock Saints, Robert Rodriguez's "El Mariachi" trilogy, the Conan films, Last Action Hero, Lethal Weapon, etc.
Another one of my favorite genres is the western. It just doesn't get much better. Someone once told me that almost any story ever written can be told in a western motif and that a good story can be measured to how it would stand up to that setting. Some of my favorite westerns are:
Sergio Leonne's "Man With No Name" trilogy (A Fistfull Of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly), The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, High Plains Drifter, Unforgiven, Open Range, Silverado, and more recently, 3:10 To Yuma, and The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford.
My top five fellows behind the lens:
1. Stanley Kubrick
2. Ridley Scott
3. Terry Gilliam
4. Sergio Leonne
5. Martin Scorsese
.."The Shield" on FX. "House" on FOX. "Lost" on ABC.
If you haven't caught on by this point, I'm a huge nerd. Beware. This rock n' roll wrapping holds a geeky loser the likes of which the world has never seen!
..Some of my favorite authors: Jack Kerouac, Neil Gaiman, J.R.R. Tolkien, Alan Moore, Chuck Palahniuk, Ken Kesey, Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Chandler, Ayn Rand, Bret Easton Eliis, John Steinbeck, Cormac McCarthy, Kurt Vonnegut, Michael Crichton, J.K. Rowling, and the list goes on, and on, and on......
My absolute favorite book of all time is "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac. If you haven't read it, please...PLEASE do.
