About Me

It's been awhile since I've updated the ol' page so what better time than now!
I Support Lithium Picnic
You think I'm "Strange" NOW...Just wait till I Evolve...
They've Created a Monster...now they have to Live with it...

Oh...I'm just your average, Eccentric 31 year old Gothic/Alternative Model, Photographer, Talent Scout, Fashion Consultant and Music Promoter...with aspirations of Acting! That's a lot to put on a fuckin' business card! Don't you think? I'll be moving to Los Angeles soon to attend film school. On the side I like to design Gothic/Industrial/Tribal clothing. I hope to have enough designs for a clothing line someday. I'm also very interested in Alternative Medicine. I can often be found doing research into the fight against Cancer and Diabetes. There's just too much to my life to sum it all up in one paragraph...If you have a question...or just wanna talk...about anything really...just send me a message!
I have way too much stuff going on at the moment so I've been neglecting the page a bit. Most of my projects including my e-zine, my clothing design, and my internet radio show have all been put on hold while I prepare to move to Los Angeles. I also STILL have many pictures (Including Some New Recent Pics) which I still need to edit and put up so just be a little patient and know that more pics are on the way!
"Darkspyre Radio"
I now have my very own Internet Radio Show called "Darkspyre Radio" on NowLive.com and although it's currently in hiatus due to my moving to Los Angeles, I hope to have it back up and running as soon as possible. I plan on eventually having guests on the show as well as taking listener's calls live on the air. Also to all of my network friends who are musicians or clothing designers and who would like me to promote them on my show just send me a message and I will be happy to do so. On my previous shows I have plugged my good friends at OffendAll.com as well as KMFDM's latest album "Tohuvabohu." I would really like to start promoting some fresh new bands...so for all you unsigned artists, start sending some mail my way and we'll see what we can do to get your music on air. My whole show revolves around music and is planned to run for approx. 1-2 hrs. I will be updating this section as the show evolves. Wish me luck!

Music:

It's always such a hard decision for me to choose the artist of the month because I know of so many wonderful bands that I want to share with everyone.

The Artist of the Month of May/June is

Haberdashery

Haberdashery is comprised of:
Stephen Pearlman

Currently playing on the page is "Mad As We Are" by Haberdashery which is a beautiful remake of an Erasure song.

Check out Haberdashery's Myspace page to listen to four Erasure songs re-done by Haberdashery. You can even download them from cdbaby through a link on the page. You can check out Haberdashery's own website at haberdasheryinfo.com and don't forget to check out their Myspace page as well to listen to some of their other songs. http://www.myspace.com/haberdasheryinfo Or as always just click on the #1 slot of my Top 40

Recent Music News

After the success of KMFDM's latest album "Tohuvabohu" the band is ready to release a remix album, featuring remixes of tracks from both "Tohuvabohu" and "Hau Ruck" so for fans of The Ultra Heavy Beat! prepare yourselves for "Brimborium" due to arrive in stores later this month. You can pre-order the CD from the KMFDM store for $12.50 or you can get a bundle which includes: "Brimborium" as well as the "Brimborium" shirt, all "Brimborium" items and an exclusive download for $27! Personally that's a sweet deal which I plan on jumping on myself. Here's what the band's page had to say about the album:

"The band are preparing their first full blown remix album ever, Brimborium. The album features 13 tracks and clocks in at over 73 minutes running time, offering dancefloor freaks and ultra heavy beat fans a disc that is packed with remixes and never before released material. Brimborium will be available on KMFDM Records/Metropolis Records on February 19."

I listen to just about all types of music but my favorite genres are Rock, Techno/Electronica, Industrial, and 80s Alternative! I love The Cure, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, KMFDM, New Order, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths, Morrissey, Information Society, OMD, AHA, U2, Duran Duran, Fischerspooner, The Bravery, The Killers, Assemblage 23, Orgy, Front Line Assembly, Razed in Black, VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Funker Vogt, Marilyn Manson, The Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails, London After Midnight, Skinny Puppy, Rob Zombie, White Zombie, Bile, Type O Negative, Aphex Twin, Ministry, David Bowie, Pigface, Slick Idiot, Hatebreed, The God Project, MMTM, Dope, Soil, Clutch, Paul Oakenfold, Faithless, Radiohead, RBD, Michale Graves (My friend and one outstanding human being!), CHANT (Another good friend who you should definately check out!), my good friends Asy9 (Who you should also check out!), WARLOK (Some great new friends of mine), and SiX sTiGmA (Wichita's very own Best Local Band! Also my newest friends. Great guys! Check them out on myspace!) All that juicy good stuff and so many more!!! I'll add to the list as more names come to mind.

Movies:

All time favorite is A Clockwork Orange! Then, in no particular order: SE7EN, 8MM, Strangeland, Milquetoast, Saw, Saw 2, Saw 3, HITMAN, The Evil Dead Trilogy, Of course the Hannibal Lector Series...Love Those! Other than that I enjoy all types of movies particularly Action, Horror, and Suspense. Also documentaries and movies about serial killers fascinate me. My favorite so far is Ed Gein. Steve Railsback did an incredible job portraying the lead character Ed Gein who was a serial killer and necrophiliac who was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia after admitting that his mother (who was deceased) was telling him what to do. A must see!! Oh My Goth!! Steve Railsback requested to add me to his friends list! I'm so ECSTATIC!!! =o)

Television:

All I watch is Spanish TV so I'm mostly into Spanish soaps a.k.a. novelas. Oh and also I Love MUN2!

Books:

The Art Of War by Sun Tzu & The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi

Heroes:

I have no Heroes...I'm always rooting for the Villains...

Which Anne Rice vampire are you most like?
Congratulations! You are truly the Brat Prince. What an honor to be as cool as Lestat.
