We, the collective forces and friends of the late Magda "Dobrawa" Gorewicz wish to build a lasting and fitting tribute to a truly wonderful woman that we all knew and loved for being everything we were not-when we were angry she was happy, when were sad she just smiled, when we were nothing she was everything...
she never had to announce her presence, when she was near you could feel her warmth...
many times when we were bleeding and battered after our quests and battles for honour or nothing she stitched us up and cleaned our wounds, to others who had battered hearts they too were put at ease by her peaceful nature, we all agree in our own ways that she is a spirit that goes on, she lives on in all that knew her and even touched those that were far away....
We wish to erect a lasting tribute to her, carved in stone for all to see-yes flowers are one of natures most beautiful sights, but she who lives forever in our hearts will live forever in this stone.
It is discussed and decided between members of Tryglaw and Nordelag that we will give our warriors pay for some events past present and future to source, carve and erect a memorial stone in the historical vicinity of Wolin where was her and is our spiritual home... and we look to the future of ourselves that when our time comes we may earn the same glory.
We understand and are overwhelmed by the sympathy and support already offered, and we invite those that wish to tribute to do so with us...please understand in certain terms we have our pride and providence as do you and in no way do we ask for financial assistance, we know many people feel more helpless than we do, and wish to do something. We continue the path we have chosen; to re-live and revive the honour and immortality of our forebears and have it carved in stone.
