Blackout is Albuqerque's newest Theatre Company! Initially we started off as UNM's official comedy troupe but have since become a company all on our own. We have done several shows and workshops around town and are constantly working on new stuff. So keep checking our Myspace site out and go to our website, www.blackouttheatre.com, to stay up to date.Although we are no longer produced by UNM we have kept close ties with the Theatre Department. We do a re-occuring show "Blackout Tonight" which has heavy student involvment and has raised over $1,700 for UNM's Associated Studentws of Theatre and Dance, the organization that produces student shows. Blackout also hosts free workshops from theatre professionals that have covered topics ranging from Mask Work to Viewpoints to Improv and more.
