About Me

DON'T MISS THE EVENT OF THE YEAR!!!

I'm very complex and very simple at the same time. I have many sides. And I'm a Cancer so I'm moody but I love to have fun no matter what mood I'm in!

I try to live life to the fullest. I'm a dreamer and usually have my head in the clouds! I love warm weather and the beach. I'm a summer baby!
I have finally moved to a warmer climate! I've been dreaming of moving west all my life and now, here I am! Arizona is a beautiful and very diverse state. I am always finding new places and new things to see.

Your Element Is Water
A bit of a contradiction, you can seem both lighthearted and serious. That's because you're good at going with the flow - but you also are deep. Highly intuitive, you tune in to people's emotions and moods easily. You are able to tap into deep emotional connections and connect with others. You prefer a smooth, harmonious life - but you can navigate your way around waves. You have a knack for getting people to get along and making life a little more peaceful. What's Your Element?
You Are a Dreaming Soul
Your vivid emotions and imagination takes you away from this world
So much so that you tend to live in your head most of the time
You have great dreams and ambitions that could be the envy of all...
But for you, following through with your dreams is a bit difficult
You are charming, endearing, and people tend to love you.
Forgiving and tolerant, you see the world through rose colored glasses.
Underneath it all, you have a ton of passion that you hide from others.
Always hopeful, you tend to expect positive outcomes in your life.
Souls you are most compatible with: Newborn Soul, Prophet Soul, and Traveler Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?
What Your Face Says
At first glance, people see you as strong willed and stubborn.
Overall, your true self is moody and dynamic.
With friends, you seem dramatic, lively, and quick to react.
In love, you seem like a huge flirt.
In stressful situation, you seem like you're oblivious to the stress. What Do People Think Of Your Face?
Don't ask. Ok, you will anyway. A Eurythmics song from the 80s. I have to laugh. I have blonde hair, blue eyes and would probably wear a red dress instead.

My Interests

Music, any of the performing arts but especially singing, dancing and playing piano; traveling, hiking, photography and enjoying the great outdoors! Finding ways to better our world.

I'd like to meet:

Creative and interesting people, especially musicians and artists. Fun-loving and adventurous souls. People who love the outdoors and try to preserve it! And people that live in Arizona since I recently moved here! Environmentalists. People who care about the world and trying to preserve it.And of course, Stevie Nicks. She lives here in Phoenix. It shouldn't be that hard, right? She's a beautiful woman, singer, songwriter and person. I have lived my entire life listening to her music. Very few celebrities stand the test of time and are the complete package. I feel she is that type of person.

My Friend Space
I have 556 friends.

Music:

Ooh boy! I like all types of music. I grew up on Classic Rock. So let's start with the Classics:
Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Steve Miller Band, Eagles, Allman Brothers, BTO, Lynryd Skynryd, Rolling Stones, Santana, Grateful Dead, CCR, Doobie Bros., America, The Who, Moody Blues, Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Beatles, Cream, Jimi Hendrix;
70's: I'm a fan of disco... ABBA, Bee Gee's, Village People, ELO, Jefferson Airplane, Meatloaf, Jimmy Buffett, Joni Mitchell, Steppenwolf;
80's: Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benetar, Blondie, Eurythmics, Gloria Estefan, Tina Tuner, Foreigner, Queen, Men At Work, Heart, The Police, Sting, The Pretenders, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Billy Joel, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Talking Heads, The Go-Go's (my 1st inspiration for a girl band!) and yes, I was a Tiffany fan...
90's: Sheryl Crow, Alanis, Jewel, REM, Black Crowes, Spin Doctors, Bare Naked Ladies, The Wallflowers, Blues Traveler, Counting Crows, Collective Soul, The Cranberries, Melissa Etheridge, Natalie Merchant, U2, No Doubt, Ace of Base, Hootie, Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls, Chris Issak, Aerosmith, George Michael, Robert Palmer, Peter Gabriel, Red Hot Chili Peppers, STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Sarah McLaughlin, DMB, The Badlees;
The New Millenium: P!nk, Avril, Evanessence, Garbage, Shakira, Matchbox 20, Maroon5, John Mayer, Lillix, Audioslave, Fuel, Hoobastank, Incubus, Flickerstick, Creed, Coldplay, Green Day, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Gwen Stefani, Antigone Rising, Natasha Bedingfield, and many new artists...
I will really give just about anything a chance. Not much into rap; I have to admit I DO like SOME country:
Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, the Dixie Chicks, and most recently Jason Aldean, Sugarland and Little Big Town. I only can deal with classical in small doses. I listen to Enigma or Enya to relax.
I haven't been to a major concert in over 10 years! I have been going to see local band performances instead and occasionally performing my own music!

What Stevie Nicks album are you?

You're a fairly happy song. You're living life your way - and enjoying it.

Which Stevie Nicks song are you?

You are "Rhiannon"

Movies:

I don't get to see movies often, but some of my favorites are: Thelma & Louise,

Practical Magic (awesome soundtracks on both of these!)
Erin Brokovitch, Unforgiven, Desperado, Speed, Top Gun, Tombstone-
I was at Tucson Studios while they were filming! All the Indiana Jones,

anything with Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock. I've actually gotten to see Pirates of the Caribbean! Both of them now!!! Johnny Depp is totally hot in these movies, and I'm not one to get excited over celebs!

I finally have seen ALL of the Star Wars movies and NO, I did NOT name my son after Luke Skywalker!

Here's the longest movie I've ever watched in the theater~

But most of what I watch are kids movies: Winnie the Pooh, Blues Clues, The Wiggles, Scooby Doo, The Land Before Time, Shrek,

Toy Story, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Madagascar to name a few.

Television:

TV? That's that box that my kid stares at too often, right? Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon. Oh, adult TV? VH-1 occasionally and the Weather Channel. If I'm lucky I get to watch Comedy Central and maybe catch some stand-up or an episode of "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" Sometimes we watch the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet. Occasionally the History Channel or TLC. I catch an episode of Miami Ink or Overhauled here and there. I'm usually too busy to sit that long. I'd rather be DOING something! Lately, I've been reliving my childhood watching Season One of The Muppet Show. I don't remember too many of those episodes. I remember more from Season Two, etc... Here's a link to a cute episode that has the intro that I remember with some of the characters that were introduced that year. http://www.pistolwimp.com/media/57066/
One of my favorite Muppet Show episodes. This is how I was introduced to many of the artists back in the day before MTV. Blondie was the best and I remember performances by Elton John, Paul Williams and Leo Sayer.
Gotta love the outfits. Did she just break outta jail with that jumpsuit? Check out this clip of a very young Liza mutilating my fav Barry Manilow song:

Books:

Books? Those are the things with paper that collect dust on my shelves. No time to that reading stuff. All I need to know I learned from my friends and the internet. Oh and many stupid mistakes that I've made in life.

Heroes:

My dad. He was a volunteer firefighter, a hard worker and a great man. He was another good man that was taken too soon from this earth. My grandfather. Also a firefighter and chief for many years. He's a Jack of All Trades and our local historian back in the Burg. Now retired, he still golfs and travels! His love of life keeps him young still at 81! My grandmother, now 80, although starting to deal with some health issues for the first time in her life, she remains full of energy and the glue that keeps the family together. She may not be able to see too well if that's a carrot or her finger that she chopped up into the salad but no matter, she'll laugh the whole time about it!
