Madhatter grew out of the initiative of five friends, who where joining the local psytrance scene of the late 90's in BelgiumThe Madhatter, we thought, didn't need any reason to party. Every day was a party, every day a birthday (or an unbirthday if you like).
So in the spirit of this freaky, funny, truthfull and catchy guy, we thought by ourselves: why don't we give everybody the chance to celebrate life in a magical, wonderland kind of way ?
Mostly, we organise our parties in favour of organisations who seriously can use some financial help. We already supported organisations who help to coordinate a poor village in the South of India (Baalwadi Benefiet) and another one who helps poor children in Belgium to build up their life. The love for the music and the whole trance-dance experience keeps giving us fresh energy to create new projects and events. ! To optimise the mind-expanding atmospheres, we expose all kinds of decoration and styles of art: donated or created by friends.
