If you are not that familiar with chadam and asking yourself why are their unrealated chadam links, then we are here to inform you. The Used has alot to do with chadam because they have been an inspiration to their album and their "mascot" in a way. Last but not least Alex Pardee is the creator of Chadam, and its as simple as that.
It is unknown how long Chadam has been an idea in the minds of The Used, Pardee, and Mihlberger. But, on the In Love and Death booklet, under special thanks, a Chadam Mihlberger is thanked right near where CW is thanked. One idea is that CW's first name is Chadam [this would make sense considering he's the one who wears the costume] and another idea is that they've had this idea of a "character/mascot" for themselves since 2004. Whatever the case, nothing was "officially" revealed until 2007.
Chadam lives in a city only known as Cardboard City. He lives in a dumpy apartment building filled with prostitutes, drug addicts, and the homeless. And when Chadam discovers the magic of a mysterious box (deliver unknown) he can finaly "SEE".
So far there are only two other main characters other than him: Sandy, a prostitute with cerebral palsy, and Ripley, her daughter whom Chadam babysits. There have been other creatures that look sort of similar to Chadam that are pictured in the album artwork. Most of them have yet to be revealed in his story. One has a jack-o-lantern type head and is believed to be Ripley. There are also a blue alien-like monster, a guy with a fish-like head carrying the remains of an octopus, and one that looks like Chadam with a pink round head and smile. (The latter has only appeared in one photo in the Lies For Liars booklet directly after one featuring the fish-headed monster holding a hammer covered in the pink blood associated with Chadam. Thus, this character may just be a beaten or dead Chadam, as if the photo is flipped upside-down it indeed looks like a deflated Chadam.)
