I've been playing guitar in roots oriented bands (western swing, honky tonk, rockabilly, surf, etc.) for around 15 years.My previous bands have been The Exotics (surf/instro), the Riverwesterners (vintage Bakersfield style Honky Tonk), the Uptown Savages (50's Rock'n'roll and R&B). and the Western Starlanders ( 40's and 50's Honky Tonk)...My current project is the Del Ripleys.I also do studio work which has included playing upright bass, lap, pedal steel, and lead guitar. I always look forward to meeting like minded folks who enjoy listening to and/or playing the music I love (anything from 60's garage or 30's jazz).I'll try to revolve songs more often...For now are two very old tunes (which I played all of the instruments on); Assasain and Meek Valley, and two recordings of the Western Starlanders .(I played steel and all of the guitars).
