A passion, a desire, and a plan are only a few words that sum up the newest member of “Club Mogul” with Jay-Z and Diddy in the music industry; Mike Sal. Michael J. Salmond Sr. a.k.a. Mike Sal is a visionary working towards wealth, stronger families and communities, and just plain good music. Born and raised in Baltimore from that old familiar story of a single parent home, Mike’s childhood struggle was his epiphany to want more out of life. His fatherless home was a motivation for him to prove that besides what cards life may have dealt him in his adolescence, its affects will not reflect his philosophy that young black men can run a successful business. In his case, run successful businesses. Unlimited Designs, Mike’s first success and investment in life, is a company that deals with the reconstruction and/or investment in homes and properties. However, Unlimited Design was only the “foundation” to this soon- to- be mogul status man. Mike’s passion for music allowed his “foundation” to build on his latest venture, Platinum Sounds Entertainment and Studio. Based in his hometown, Baltimore, MD, Mike’s and Platinum Sounds Entertainment and Studio vision is: “…to develop and build artists as well as a family and turn every project into Platinum; to make Baltimore a new home base for hits.” Mike’s plan has truly happened with the many talents he has worked with and executively produced, giving Platinum Sounds Entertainment and Studio, a great start to a bright future. With his passion for music, desire for success for his family and friends, his drive for a better community and plans to put Baltimore back on the map for “the city with hits” and plain good music, Mike Sal deserves a membership in “Club Mogul.”

THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!!! Check out what Platinum Sounds is doing. The expected completion date was January 1, 2007 but I keep adding more rooms. I took a single family rancher house and raised it up 5ft. (lifted the whole house up in the air to make 9’ ceilings in my basement) and added a 2 level addition (35’x56’) on the back to accommodate 2 studios.Studio A control room is 30'x16'w/ 11' high ceilings and the live room is 24'x30' w/ a 20' architecturally designs ceiling for natural reverb. It also will have an 8'x8' Iso booth for vocals or isolated instruments. Studio B control room is 12'x14' w/ 11'ceilings and the live room is 12'x6' also w/11' ceilings. The studio will also have a movie theater to accommodate 10 people (8 theater chairs and 2 massage chairs), a fitness room to work-out, a game room, and V.I.P.
