In 1995 I bit the bullet and became self employed initially working full time in the studio. I became involved in the engineering and producing side of the business working with various acts while also writing and producing a lot of my own material.
My career in live playing took a turn in 1996 when I was selected as Musical Director for BOYZONE which continued in the guise of tours, TV and video until their split in 1999.
During this time I moved to London and set up my own studio for the producing and writing side of my business.
Once I had the bug it was clear this was to be not only my career but also my passion. I have been privileged and have thoroughly enjoyed working as Musical Director, Programmer and Keyboard Player for the following bands (to name a few) over the years:911/
A1/
ALL SAINTS/
BEWITCHED/
BLUE/
WESTLIFE/
FAME ACADEMY/
XFACTOR LIVE ARENA TOURS/
ALEX PARKS/
G4/
JOURNEY SOUTH/
RYANDAN/I have also played with various artists for TV performances both as playback and live.Other work I have been involved with was the selection, creation and development of the BBC TV Saturday Show house band as Musical Director.
I continued with my interest as a producer and songwriter signing to EMI Publishing in 2000 and have produced acts in all genres of music particularly in pop and classical cross over.I still pursue my love for music in all aspects and over the years have been honoured to have worked with some fantastic, super talented musicians/dancers/singers/song writers (and drummers!! Lol) who have all become close friends and I take my hat off to each and every one of you.All the best
