hi, my name is kassandra papak, i´m a violin player from berlin. like almost every violin player i started with playing classical music. but after years of being the only string player in an orchestra who liked to drink and smoke i decided to switch to the jazz department.i was satisfied with that at first because they all liked beer there. but during my studies at the conservatory in arnhem NL i discovered i couldn´t agree with"jazz- thoughts" as "bigger/faster/higher". as we all know singers aren´t able to act like this i decided to sing as well and to use the violin to play some solos. in the last months i discovered that doing both at the same time (playing the violin AND singing) is even nicer and that bigger/faster/higher isn´t always bad.because of these thougts i have to practice...
