Evelon

My name is Paul, but friends call me Palle. I was named after mom's favorite Beatle (McCartney) and dad's favorite songwriter (Simon). Ironically they both (McCartney/Simon) have inspired me tons in my own music. Since dad is a guitarist I grew up with bands rehearsing in the basement. I quickly got drawn to the drums. At age four I climbed up on the stool and hammered away. At age five I got my first taperecorder. Within two weeks I had to open up (brake) to figure out how it worked. At age 13 I got my first guitar and formed my first band...well, it was a duo and a turntable. Since then I've been in bands like No Treatment, Bare Farmers, Stanton, Ewoia, Dwine, The Barcrawlers.
I recently gave up making a living as a drummer, touring Scandinavia with The Barcrawlers (Irish music) for two+ years. Now I will have more time to focus on my other projects, like photography, sounddesigning and songwriting. I'm currently involved in a www.phonobel.se which is a new company. I will be in charge of the studio, reocording and producing artists and bands.
