Fakie is a 5-piece pop-punk act with members widely spread across the east-coast of Sweden. They have played since 2003 but got their present line-up in August 2007.
The music could easily be described as a foundation built by pop-punk with short scream parts. One of the main things that describe “FFN†and make their sound special is the powerful vocals and their catchy refrains. They are strongly influenced by the past and the present, bad things and good things that happened to their individual lives. They have played around a lot and they love to gain new influences and to meet people from different places.
A last thing worth being mentioned is the review they got from the American pop-punk band Good Charlotte. They concluded the review by saying “Sounds a lot like some new bands in America. Good work, good job!â€
