Shallow Sense is a captivating melodious pop-rock act with an element of electronics. Or pop-rock with a touch of last-dance-anxiety, if you prefer. The Killers meet Bloc Party is another definition.
When it comes to what the band has been doing in the near time, there are some things that distinguish. They participated in the big international music competition Bodog Battle, and the judges were stuck with the amazing live act from the beginning. After three successful competitions and City Finals in Sweden, the quartet won the ticket abroad to the Region Finals and the Danish club of distinguished heritage, Vega in Copenhagen.
But the greatest experience from hundreds of gigs from northern Sweden to Vega in Copenhagen, must be the release party for the new EP in their hometown Västerås. Shallow Sense packed the best club full and 300 paying visitors came to celebrate the new EP, and got to experience a magnificent evening that seemed to stop time.
Finally, the band is very hopeful about the hard work paying off in a memorable summer with a hectic program. Giving up the jobs to tour the summer, is an easy thing to do. The recently released EP “Here Goes Nothing” will be the platform in that ambition. With all due respect to hard work in the studio, it’s on stage Shallow Sense love to be, it’s what giving a fair picture to the music that you got to see.
