Beny Blaq Entertainment (BBE) provides professional showcase events that will expose spoken word poetry in the form of intriguing performances and events. These events will assist in bridging the gap between professional spoken word artists and people who have an interest in the art form.Our purpose is to encourage potential visionaries to use their God given talent to express their ideas and thoughts in the most positive fashion. We do this by implementing performances that form direct interactions with Tony Award recipients, poets that have performed on Broadway, and at the Apollo, as well as poets that have been featured on the HBO hit television series Def Poetry Jam. While there are numerous spoken word events in the DC metro area BBE is set to restore some life in the DC poetry scene and reintroduce the authentic love of the art of spoken word. What sets BBE events apart from others is the ability to display artists who deliver a wide range of art in the form of spoken word to the masses, while exposing the talented men and women who are living their dreams.
