About Me

What is up? If you didn't catch it earlier, the name is Mike and I'm pretty much from all over the place thanks to my pop having served in the Army for the majority of the time I was growing up. If you were to ask my hometown, I would give you the answer of Georgia. Having eventually joined up myself (USAF) I've been all over the place in the U.S. Traveled around the world a little bit too. From Japan to Okinawa, Qatar, Germany, Ireland, Korea, Iraq with more places I plan to go. Right now I'm hanging out in North Dakota doin' whatever. The place is not as bad as some say it is, but it's cool. I hear the winters are "amazing". hehI always tell myself it is what you do, not what you say, that makes you who you are. But since that's can't be the case here I'll just say that I'm pretty chill. I tend not to sweat the small stuff and almost always finding myself going with the flow.As far as what happens on my spare time I pretty much get into whatever is out there. I'll usually find myself in a gym lifting my face off. If not there, I'm probably out running somewhere. I don't care about falling on my face when I snowboard, taking a wipeout or two trying to surf, taking cleats to the shin when I'm playing soccer. The more you do it you are that much closer to being pro, yeah? "Walk it off" as they say. Life is too short for you just to stand there and let it go by. As far as who "I'd Like To Meet", I'm cool with practically everyone I come across. I'm reserved at first, but once the formalities come and go it's all good. I'm like the goofiest dude, so I've been told. Those who know me though know that I'm like the coolest thing since Spam anyway. (I grew up on spam. It was cool. Get off.) I've come across many good influences and I've had my share of bad ones. What they all had in common was that they all had a lesson. If you are high speed you'll know what I'm talking about.

My Interests

I'm all over the place always experiencing something new. The door is wide open, nothing left to do but walk through it, yeah?

Music:

Latin, Reggae (Dancehall/Roots/Latin), Reggaeton( Calle 13, Tego, Notch, etc... not that Gasolina junk), hip-hop (Again, the good stuff, I punch kids that chant out "AY BAY BAY!"), and all that other noise. No worries though, I've been known to dust off the DMB cd along w/ all them other types. 30 Seconds to Mars and Mars Volta come around as well. Fav. Band on that end of that spectrum of music at the moment is Deftones/Team Sleep. Tastes vary on my mood and the time of day.

Movies:

All the Rocky Movies, Kung Fu, Foreign films, and movies that just don't make any sense (i.e. Jay and Silent Bob noise). Oh and yeah, hack and slash movies like 300. GET SOME!

Television:

AFN BABY!!! Naht! On the real though. Family Guy, Venture Bros, Ren & Stimpy (minus what airs on Spike), New York Undercover (when it aired). Nowadays I'll find myself sometimes watching Aqua Teen, Robot Chicken, South Park (I remember that mess from Middle School), and Nip Tuck (seems out of place doesn't it?). Otherwise I don't find myself in front of the TV that often.

Books:

Just finished "The Game" by Neil Strauss. Reading up on NLP so I can learn how to melt your face. ;]
