music/sports/astrology/the paranormal/movies/spontaneity/alcohol can sometimes make an otherwise uninteresting night interesting
frickin anyone. If I'm not interested then its my fault if I let you waste my time
mostly rap / r&b.....good stuff though...Nas, Roots, E Sermon, Lost Boyz, Gangstarr, Likwit Crew, Chino XL (at least older Chino XL), Lupe Fiasco, Dwele, etc...open to anything that sounds good outside of most country and techno music...can't stay on top of more than one genre though too much effort...................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ .................................................far as I'm concerned, music's mostly about mindset. rap represents personal ambition. rock reps collective ambition. r&b/soft rock/jazz/etc all about relaxation. techno's all about attempted collective harmony/escape. hardcore metal reps a combination of everything except relaxation.....somethin to this extent at least these are thoughts off the top of my head not a college thesis...not sure exactly what country's about but I think its somethin to the extent of feeling sorry for yourself because your younger sister left you for your uncle. (obviously there's exceptions + good/bad music in each genre)
U Turn, Dead Awake, Flypaper, Mulholland Dr, Evil Alien Conquerors, Clerks, Thursday, Lucia y el Sexo, most fairly recent movies directed by Clint Eastwood, etc
among other stuff, the staples (Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, Chapelle except they're all reruns), NFL network, ESPN though I periodically would like to boycott it, and the Autopsy specials on HBO.............Among older shows that should still be on the air: Night Stand, In Living Color (so they show reruns but nobody 'll touch em outside of BET), TV Funhouse & Charles in Charge
