About Me

M.E. My Experience. Im Still Learinin. Still Building. Still Growing. Realizm Entertainment, LLC. is the company that I own with business partner and close friend Brian "Flossi" Austin. Over the years I have been in the streets branding that name and building my company to be a force in the music industry that has longevity potential and good music to listen to. I wont tell you a lot of personal things about myself but i will tell you this, my government name is Fortino Solomon Gonzalez. I was born from a Mexican father and African-American mother in Chicago,Ill. June 12, 1980. That makes me a Gemini, born artistic and creative with two ways of looking at everything. Since then I’ve lived in every region of the country moving around from Pasadena, Ca., Youngstown, Oh., Pittsburgh, Pa., Athens, Ga., and then posting up in what i have become to know as Heat City Az. These cops out here is deep and they bug you like pests. Its legal for non felons to cary guns {and i am a non felon, knock on wood, Ive never spent more than 48 hrs. in a cell}, and the game is stupid out here. Though it barely rains, it is rarely a drought. Ya Dig. Ive been through alot of shit, lost alot of loved ones to The Dope Game. My brother being murdered inspired my first rap. Anything else you wanna know, listen to the music. Since I’ve been in the Southwest I progressed in my music developing myself to be a top m.c. in the region at every level. I did the whole battle rappin on the corner of Mill Ave. in Tempe in the late nineties. Ask about M.E. I been doin shows at all the local venues throughout the city from the Mason Jar to the Big Fish ask about M.E. I been opening shows for the biggest national acts to come into town incuding Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Busta Rhymes, L.L. Cool J, Cash Money Millionaires, Ghostface Killa, Paul Wall, Lil Flip, Chamillionaire, D-12, KRS 1, The Shop Boyz, Young Jeezy and a few more i cant remember at the moment. Ask about M.E. I went on nationwide tours with Ludacris and G-Unit and Pokafase performing at Legendary venues like The House of Blues flying on private jets and shit. It also gave me the opportunity to record a song with Detroits Royce The 5 9.Ask about M.E. From the Puerto Rican Day Parade in NEW YORK to livin in Hollywood posted up making money writing for others, i did that. I also had the chance to become aquainted with Proof of the multi-platinum group D-12 who would record 3 songs with me including Wingz & Ballz and also show us a good time in Detrioit over SuperBowl weekend. I dropped classic material in the streets from The League series to the Heat City Volumes gaining cult fan base and notoriety in the streets. Ask about M.E. I got one of the hottest mixtapes circulting the streets of AZ right now "Have You Seen M.E." Ask about M.E. Real talk. I’ve always tried to create my own path in the game and I have finagled my way into many situations. When i was not satisfied with the way a lot of concert promoters promoted thier hip hop shows i started renting venues and promoting my own shows complete with radio airtime, cable spots on B.E.T., M.T.V., & M.T.V. 2, and designing fliers to pass out in the streets. Ask Juice from Blackwallstreet, I’ve promoted a few nice shows he got a chance to perform at before he got on and we still cool. I’ve been building my relationships and perfecting my craft while at the same time learning "The Business" throughtout these times. It has given me the opportunity to develop other artist and give them a chance to build themselves with a strong team behind them. The Suspeks. Young Murk. Lil’ Street, Paid Made Music’s ShoeBox Money Gang. I’ve been featured on Power 98.3 {formerly Power 92} with songs such as "Sex on The First Date, Oh My God on the 8 O’clock Spotlight, & Swagger featuring JX 3 as the Street Heat of The Week. Im currently in the process of making more opportunities for myself. I’m the director of marketing and promotions of the all new Big Fish Club in TEMPE. We just made a few BIG promotional moves with UrbanAZ so look out for M.E. in future print adds and some radio spins on 101.5, and also more big shows at The Celebrity Theater or The Marquee. Also look out for my novel "I Survived To See 25" to be released in early ’09. Yeah, you heard it right. A novel. I’m a rider and a writer. My position is played proper/ If you want Realizm better be a million $ offer/ You dealin wit a monster/ Author of the book thats wrote/ Real talk only write what i know/ So if i aint sure then im lettin it go/ Im sick without a cure im just lettin ya know/ Im currently in the process of putting together my first official album "REPUTATION" which is a concept album. More details on that later. Basically Im just informin you of my history in the game and letting you know that im really grinding with this music. Its a whole lot of rappers out there and being a rapper aint enough in the business these days. This business is very competitive and full of sharks. You got to know the game. The Business.
