Pastor/Prophetess Jacqueline (Jackie) Gentry Pastor Jackie was called into ministry at early age under the tutelage of the late Bishop/Dr. Arvin and Dr. Annie Hall (Glory Tabernacle) from 1980 until January 2001. Pastor Jackie was equipped and groomed to serve effectively in ministry and has worked in nearly every area of Glory Tabernacle except for the finance department. Pastor Jackie began serving under Chief Apostle Anthony D. Young in January, 2001. Under the tutelage of Chief Apostle Young, Pastor Jackie worked diligently as an Evangelist and has evolved into a Pastor with a prophetic call. She established several ministries in which she served as the director and facilitator and as ministerial administrator over his organization. In January 2002, Pastor Jackie began Women of Deliverance International Ministries that are made up of women from many denominations and ethnic backgrounds in which she serves as the founder and director. WOD currently hosts an annual international retreat held in (April/May) and conference (September/October). WOD also is planning to host several conference and retreats that will be held in different regions of the U.S. and other parts of the world such as the Caribbean Islands, Africa, and etc. In addition, a website has been established for WODIMINISTRIES and the site address is www.wodiministries.citymax.com. A Weekly internet Broadcast, Healing Words of the Hour is airing on www.blogtalkradio.com/jgentry on Saturdays at 12:00pm and dial in number is 646-478-5158 and a Bi-weekly Teleconference, Words of Deliverance. In October 2007, Pastor Jackie established Destiny Deliverance International Ministries which is nondenominational and has members that are Vietnamese, Latino and etc. DDI Ministries offers whole body ministry in which every area of an individual‘s life will be affected enabling them to grow into a spiritually maturity equipped builder. Pastor Jackie is a high school teacher at Bridgeton High School where she helped establish the African American Club and has been serving since 1997/98 as the club coordinator and advisor. She is currently on the School Leadership Committee and has served on different committees such as Affirmative Action (8 years), Attendance Appeal Committee, etc... She also has worked with autistic children at Devereux Foundation (NJCA) and has a part-time job as a teacher for NJ-After 3 program. In June 2006, Pastor Jackie earned a Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision in Educational Leadership which will help enhance her ministerial administrative skills for kingdom building and obtain a job as a principal/administrator. Throughout, her academic career, Pastor Jackie has received many honors including being on the Dean's List and the National Honor Society. Pastor Jackie is also a former Bridgeton Jaycette and a member of the Bridgeton Area Chapter of the National Congress of Black Women (NCBW). She serves on the Executive Boards of a New Woman’s Ministries International and Christian Ministry Network. She is a member of Sisterwoman which is growing international network of women and associations established by women and an honorary member of Women of the Cloth and member of Kingdom Apostolic Network which are associations of Women who are members of the clergy made of up Chief Apostles, Apostles, Bishops, Pastors, Prophetesses, and Evangelists. She is also a member of the Prestigious Women of the Frontline group, Leaders United by a Purpose Network, Apostolic Preachers Network, Christian Vision Network and several other networks. Pastor Jackie is a well sought after international preacher, conference and retreat speaker and teacher. She also plans to emerge as a single conference host and speaker because God is enabling her to be an example of a single virtuous woman that is an end time remnant kingdom builder. Pastor Jackie is a mother of three children, Latasha, Erica, and Darryl and a grandmother of four, Alanni, Amil, Cartier, and Arie. She has several godchildren and is called Miss Jackie by AA club members, and former and current students. Pastor Jackie is called the Hat Lady by many due to her exquisite style of hats. One of Pastor Jackie’s favorite scripture is Psalms 23:1—The Lord is my shepherd.
