About Me


Formed in 2001 this rock band from deep south Texas bring heavy yet melodic riffs and thought provoking lyrics. Known for their entertaining stage presence, Flood23 is on a mission to prove that Christian rock is still alive and well....and not boring. The bible says in the book of Nahum 1:8,
"But with an overrunning flood He will make an utter end of the place thereof and darkness shall pursue His enemies". And with that verse in mind Flood23 will play every venue, bar and church until every boy and girl, man and woman are flooded with the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ.
"Everyone believes or stands for someone or something; no one seems to be embarassed about where they come from or what they live for, so why should we? We sing about what we know; why sing about something you're not living or doing? We're not here to preach, we just want to tell you about a higher being. We're not alone and the world needs to hear that. If they feel uncomfortable, convicted or offended by what we say then that's their problem, God is knocking on the door of our hearts...and He's knocking hard!" -Santos (vocals)
