Kwame "Sometimer" Gbemu, born 1st of may 1950 in Accra / Tudu - Ghana.
I started music at school as a drummer i got my first glimpse pop chain 1969 with in this time i started to taste my career with the* Planets dance band*, the *Astronauts pop band* until 1972 i was enlisted in the Ghana Army band as a drummer by the* Powerful Mercury band* 1 Signal Regiment.
During my 9 years of service I studied at the Military academy of music.In 1977 I served for 6 months under the United Nations Peace Keeping Force in the Sinai Desert Buffer-Zone.After this time i changed my main instrument from Drums to Bass and in 1980 I spent 9 months in Spain as the Bass player of the "satellite Band".Since 1982 I live in Berlin gigging around from my work as a bass player in several Bands and as a studio musician, I am a composer of African Traditional Music,African Pop, Reggae, Funk and Soul. Hits songs like AKO TE BROFO,AKWANKWA TEA,ODO BEBA NA MA YE ATEA,KYEKYERE NUA,OH HILIFE TIME,EASTHER NYE MY DEAR KO,ASIKO.Burger hilife music originated.With the "Kantana Band" and a recording contract with "Oval Records" / England in 1985, I toured through Europe.
During the Years I played with Bands such as "Bus Stop", "Classic Handel's", "Planets Dance Band", "George Darko" and "Saraba ,Buba Jammeh'sband.In 1991 -1992 tours with "Sasa Masso - The Togo Band" and "Kwadjo Antwi" brought me to the U.S.A. , Ghana and Europe.
From 1993 - 2000 I was busy with concerts tours in Europe and CD recordings as Bass Player, Backing vocals and Composer of five tracks on the PROMOTION ALBUM LIVING SPIRITS.My Productions company is known as KSG-Music,*BLACK GRAVIY*is the supporting band for all engagements.DiscographyDeutsch:

Begann bereits in Schulbands als Schlagzeuger und Percussionist.
Diente seit 1969 für 9 Jahre in der ghanaischen Armee, sowie den Vereinten Nationen im Jahr 1977 im Sinai.
Studierte während der Armeezeit an der "Academy of Music", Schlagzeug und Percussion. Wechselte dann zur Bassguitarre als Hauptinstrument, und ging 1980 für ein Jahr nach Spanien.
Lebt seit 1982 in Europa mit Berlin als Hauptwohnsitz.
