I'm cynical, misanthropic and occasionally more burnt than toast, but am good for a laugh. Feel deeply, love passionately, and am looking for eccentrics with which to connect. I have much more I could write, but I have to decide how much of me I want out there, since I can be pretty 'out there'. ;)I have a few blogs which can be provided as necessary. I haven't filled out all the stuff related about school and work because - well, it's the Internet and I try for a little privacy, the info is available elsewhere and beside - who really cares? It's like anything - I'll give you the info if you're interested...same with IM info. My Interests

music...information architecture...anarchy...pop culture....too many to mentionpolitics, environment, music, art, poetry, culture, anarchy, media - if any of these (and many others) interest you, drop me a line. Misanthropes always welcome, though I enjoy spending time with cynics as well ;)

I'd like to meet:

Music:

white stripes/r.e.m./sugar/hole/matthew sweet/nirvana/meat puppets are the main ones. a whole bunch of 2nd tier bands and singers as well.Music is my religion.

Movies:

the main ones include fight club, naked (by Mike Leigh, not some freakin' porno), Ship of Fools and a bunch of others. Oh and Dead Poet's Society, and don't you dare laugh.

Television:

not much, because the shows I like usually get cancelled (Northren Exposure, Twin Peaks, X-Files, you get the drift).Currently I dig Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, most things on PBS and nature, news and pop culture shows and the like.

Books:

what, no category for favourite art?! It's just as important as what books you read.Sigh. I'm a big non-fiction reader; design books, pop culture, that sort of thing.

Heroes:

Those who fight against injustice in any form. Also nurses, doctors, teachers and single parents. Many others. This is just a sample.
