Our Hearts Start The Fire
The Firebrand were formed early in 2006, and soon after, had amassed a large local fanbase that became more and more apparent as they were thrown in to the local spotlight after coming 2nd place in the 'Break Through Battle of The Bands' in November 2006. They gave amazing live displays, one to remember was their co-headlining spot in the Mount Plesant on Halloween 2006.

Through the formative months of 2007 the band wrote and released some of their best material including their only single 'The Morning After' which was released in April 2007 and charted at 197 in the singles charts.
Shortly before their split the band entered SKWAD HQ for the third time to record what should have been their big break, the EP...titled simply, 'swansong' is available for download from NOW.
After 400 days together and 88 shows together The Firebrand have ceased to be, but the memories will live with the three of us for a very, very long time. To use the lyrics of the last song we wrote together 'Lose The Grace' (available for download on here):
