We formed Entirety at the end of April 2007. We originally went under the name of 'Chaos Black', until our drummer left us to different things, and singer moved to Leeds to study. Although it was a great line up, it didn't last long and we only managed to play a couple of shows before the end. We never recorded anything as a part of this band except videos of the shows we played.
Whilst struggling to find a drummer & singer, Dan, Matt, Felix and Paul kept the band going by just jamming out in Dan's garage, writing new songs and playing along with guitar pro MIDI drums! That was until we stumbled accross Chris, (through Matt's brother's friend of a friend). We got him round for a jam and found out that he was a brilliant drummer, so we wanted him to stay there and then! Although he is younger than the rest of us, he is just what the band needs and fits in just fine. We practised solidly for around about one month and then decided we wanted to record a song, and so we did. We are all very happy with the result, and 'Faces of the Innocent' became the first regular song to be played at our live performances.
We have since returned to the strudio on two occasions, firstly to record the instrumental 'Ride the Apocalypse pt.I' and in late November 2007 to complete our first full EP. As part of this session, Faces of the Innocent was re-recorded and the new beefed up version can be heard along with the rest of the EP in the player above. We hope to return to the studio within the next couple of months to record a second EP. We are really fired up at the moment and really enjoy jamming together plus writing/rehearsing new meterial. We play as many gigs as we can and if you are a fan of metal music, then come along to one of these and experience the intensity of 5 passionate metalheads doing what they love.
So, to sum up, we are a heavy rock/metal band from the Southampton area who are very passionate about their music. With super intense drumming and incredible guitar acrobatics, we aim to excite, thrill, and above all entertain any crowd we are put infront of.
