Coach Sal (my 1st and best coach in Football, he really showed me how to work hard and brought out the best in me), Jesse Torres (close friend and fellow grappler who was one of the top 5 funniest people I've ever met yet deep down inside was so sad), Dean Heileman (not just cause of the cool name, this guy was tough, really tough, a great competitor and friend and motivated me by his long fight and attitude against Cancer, I now more than ever wish he could have made it out to train with me, he exemplifies everything a true martial artist should be) Stanley Kuliga (fellow Jiu Jitsu man), Willy Jones (HS friend and wrestler, he was the greatest example of a young athlete), Carlson Gracie (one of the all time greats and legends of the Gracie family who did so much for my sport and helped me out when I was in Brasil, let a gringo train for free, unbelievable!!!), Rolles Gracie (the teacher of my first Jiu Jitsu coach and another legend of the Gracie family. I've only seen a few old clips of him competing and fighting but he is one of the reasons I have such respect for all fighting styles and also why I treat all of my opponents with such respect as I'm known for), and the rest of the great teachers/coaches/trainers/fighters who have gone from us but left such a long lasting impression in life and contributed so much to the world to those few who knew them. Greats from whom I have learned or had knowledge passed down from I wouldn't be who/what I am today without you. Rest in Peace.......................Dorme com os anjinhos..............
