Curriculum:
Fabio Poian, nato a Trieste nel 1990, ama la musica fin da piccolo.
Inizia i suoi studi musicali all'età ' di sette anni presso la Banda Civica Città di Monfalcone.
Dal 2000 al 2007 fa parte della Banda stessa.
All'età ' di dodici anni inizia a studiare con Mauro Kellner del quale è tuttora allievo con grande soddisfazione.
Dal 2005 è anche allievo di Sergio Pescara, presso la scuola Boschello a Mirano (Ve).
Dal 2006 studia canto con il maestro Massimo Devitor, che lo aiuta molto sia dal punto di vista canoro che da quello personale.
Nell’estate 2006 Fabio partecipa al Rhythm Course 2006 presso la Bath Spa University (UK), un corso intensivo con docenti del calibro di Pete Riley, Colin Woolway e ospiti come Stanton Moore,Benny Greb e Bob Armstrong.
Nell’estate 2007 partecipa alla Womad Summer School presso la Bath Spa University (UK), una settimana di lezioni intensive con il grande Billy Cobham ed in seguito al Rhythm Corse 2007 con ospiti Jojo Mayer, Adrian Erlandsson ed altre star.
Nell'estate 2008 ha partecipato ai corsi estivi presso la L.A. Music Academy di Pasadena(Los Angeles,California)dove ha studiato con maestri del calibro di Joe Porcaro,Tony Inzalaco,Ralph Humprey e Gary Ferguson!
Fabio ha partecipato a numerose clinics (Nicko McBrain,Gregg Bissonette,Thomas Lang,Carl Palmer,Jerry Marotta,Roberto Gualdi e Stefano Bagnoli, Jojo Mayer,Omar Hakim).
Ha partecipato a quattro seminari Jazz con John Riley a Udine nel 2005,2006, 2007 e 2008.
Esperienze:
Nel 2002 inizia a suonare con la sua prima band, i Milky Way.
Si esibirà con loro in vari locali della regione, motoraduni, feste, sagre e rassegne (Morarock, Fusi di Rock) e nella finale del Concorso per band Emergenti 2007 ad Azzano X.
Nel 2006 Fabio entra a far parte degli Hot Space Queen Tribute Band e degli Happy Hour.
Con gli Hot Space Fabio suona sulle navi da crociera Emerald Princess e Queen Victoria ed in vari locali.
Nel novembre 2006 Fabio viene chiamato dal maestro Filippo Daneluzzi a far parte della Shipyard Town Jazz Orchestra,una big band Jazz e Funk attiva da vent'anni in regione.
Dal 2008 collabora con Enzo e Roger Gentile e Edi Forni in un progetto di musica Jazz,Fusion e Latin.
Il 29 novembre 2007 ha vinto a Bologna la finale nazionale del concorso “Drummer of Tomorrow†organizzato da Mapex-Casale Bauer nella categoria “GROOVE†under 18.

Curriculum:
Fabio Poian was born in Trieste in 1990.
He began his musical studies at the age of 7 at the Banda Civica Città di Monfalcone.
From 2000 to 2007 he’s been the drummer in the band.
At the age of 12 he began to study with Mauro Kellner. Fabio is still happily studying with him.
Since 2005 he is also student of Sergio Pescara, at the Boschello School in Mirano (Venice).
Since 2006 Fabio has been learning to sing with Massimo Devitor, who has helped him a lot.
In the summer of 2006 Fabio attended the Rhythm Course at the Bath Spa University(UK),an intensive workshop with great teachers like Pete Riley and Colin Woolway and guests like Stanton Moore,Benny Greb and Bob Armstrong.
In the summer of 2007 he attended the Womad Summer School at the Bath Spa University(UK), a week of intensive lessions with the great Billy Cobham and then again at the Rhythm Course with guests like Jojo Mayer,Adrian Erlandsson and many others.
In the summer of 2008 he attended the summer course of the L.A. Music Academy in Pasadena(Los Angeles,California)where he has studied with great teachers such as Joe Porcaro,Tony Inzalaco,Ralph Humprey and Gary Ferguson!

Experiences:
In 2002 he started playing with Milky Way, his first band.
In 2006 Fabio joined Hot Space Queen Tribute Band and Happy Hour.
With Hot Space, Fabio will perform on cruiseships like the Queen Victoria and Emerald Princess and in many other places.
In november of 2006 Fabio was called by Filippo Daneluzzi to join the Shipyard Town Jazz Orchestra, a big band Jazz and Funk that has been active for twenty years.
Since 2008 he collaborates with Enzo and Roger Gentile and Edi Forni in a project of Jazz,Fusion and Latin music.
The 29th of november 2007 Fabio won, in Bologna, the final of the national competition “Drummer of Tomorrowâ€, organised by Mapex-Casale Bauer in the under 18 Groove section!
