Lorenzo Grassi, born in Rome Italy, is a very versatile player and composer. He has produced and arranged a number of musical tunes that go from Italian rock-pop, to eclectic electro-acoustic grooves, straight ahead jazz with a twist of Savor Latino and a lot of good ol' funk.:
He is also very involved as an educator, in particular jazz improv, ensemble playing, harmony and theory and sight reading, currently works for the L.A. Music Accademy and for the California College of Music.:
