I live by the sea on the beautiful island of Krakeroy just outside of the town Fredrikstad in the south-east of Norway. As you can see from some of my pictures, we're surrounded by beautiful nature around here.
I have been through a few bad things in my life, though. I was into track and field when I was young, and during a training camp in Portugal, I was poisoned and became seriously ill. I was bedridden for a long, long time, and had a lot of pain and almost constant fever.
Three years ago I got better, and it was an unbelieveable feeling when I walked out of our home and out in the sun for the first time in more than 13 years. Just meeting and talking to people, enjoying nature and feeling alive again - wonderful!
I do still have my ups and downs, but I keep hoping and praying for a full recovery someday. I would not have made it without my music. I like writing songs, mainly in the pop and rock genres, and so far I have released three CD's:
Open Up (melodic pop/rock, west coast) Tusler Varsomt Forbi (west coast sound with Norwegian lyrics) The Raven (pop/rock/folk)
All produced by David Johansen in Audiovisjon Studio.
I had two albums worth of songs released while I was too sick to be involved in the recording:
Inside Looking Out (Thanks to Lars-Erik Dahle) (1997) Blomsterøya (1998)
These albums means a lot to me but are very hard to find these days. Hopefully I'll be able to make them available again soon.
I hope to reach more people out there with my music and I hope to continue writing songs for years to come. My two most recent albums are available for download at Musiconline.no and at the iTunes Store . Click the album covers on the left to hear soundclips and buy the songs.
You can also contact me directly via MySpace, or by email at [email protected] if you have any comments or want to buy any of my CD's.
