About Me

I'm 45 and married to the love of my life Don. We have been married for 22 years and have two sons, one is 28 years old, and is married with a baby daughter.. The other is 23 years old. My husband and youngest son and I live on Whidbey Island in Washington State. You can get here by ferry or Deception Pass bridge. It's a very beautiful place to visit or live.
I was born the year of the Tiger, I love all of the feline breeds, but Tigers are my favorite of the breeds. I love the photo's where the colors are crisp, and the stripes are clearly defined.. I also love having a lot of greens in the background of the photo's, that seems to make the colors more vivid, and bright! I love it when someone gives me a Tiger comment, it doesn't matter if I already have it, it's the thought that counts! Anyway the way I look at it you can never have to many Tiger photo's, LOL!

My Interests

I love to sew, I do all my sewing by hand,
I make pillows and I'm really good at making
covers for chairs and other things. I made my first real quilt for my granddaughter.
I don't use a machine.
I don't know how to use one L.O.L

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking for friends that have a good since of humor, and can laugh at them shelf, but knows when to be serious when the time calls for it. I want friends that are honest and true, that sticks with you no matter what. Even if you type slow like me L.O.L. I also would love to meet people who love tigers has much as I do.

Oldies and soft rock, CHER, Carly Simon, Fleetwood Mac, Norman Greenbaum and Lionel Richie. I love Loreena Mckennitt's Celts CD The Book of Secrets, I also like some Classic Country like Crystal Gayle, Johnny Cash, The Charlie Daniels Band, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.

Movies:

I like all the Star Wars movies, Lord of the Ring, Harry Potter, the Original Dune, I also like Star Trek The Wrath of Khan & The Voyage Home, Starship Troopers, Stargate,I Robot& The Fifth Element.

Television:

Heroes:

One of my hero's is my husband(Don)he was found to have kidney disease in 2003. he has had his good days and his bad days, there were times he was in the hospital, because he retained to much fluid and would swell up so bad he couldn't walk and was bedridden. But he still kept his sense of humor and joke a round. In October of 2005 he had surgery on-his left arm to get it ready for dialysis, he was suppose to have his second one in February of 2006. In January of 2006 he had a nose bleed that wouldn't stop, I had to take him to the hospital in bellingham, because his kidney doctor is there. His kidneys had quit, They had to put a tube in his chest to do dialysis. He was in the hospital for almost a week,after he got out he had to go to mount Vernon which is a long way to go, at the time the kidney center in oak harbor was full. But through it all he still joked with the nurses, he kept his sense of humor and I love him for that. He now has dialysis in Oak Harbor and is going though the motions to get on the Transplant list.
Next there would be (Carol) my sister: When I had to take my husband to the hospital I called my sister when I got home she came all the way from bothell on the ferries that same night. She stayed with me all night, then she Took me to see him every day when I couldn't drive, I don't think I could have gone to see him every day with out her. She kept my spirits up and made me laugh when all I had wanted to do is cry. I thank you my sister for being there when I needed you, and for your caring and support then and now. I LOVE YOU SWEET SISTER OF MINE
