Livin' life with my babe. Awwww.....ain't we cute?????
Debunking everyone's obsession with perfection. It's not about perfection....just what's perfect for me. I think people would be happier if they realized that.
Sacred love over profane love
Seeing the Aurora Borealis
Figuring out why people are so afraid to go after something they want.
Constellations
Boys!
Shoes!
(just kidding, but this is funny)
"And as soon as you've rearranged the mess in your head, he will show up looking sane...perfectly sane...if I know Crazy."
Intelligent people who don't feel compelled to wave it around 24/7. Those of integrity who take care of their shit and treat others with respect especially in times of adversity.
My #1 crush...an amazingly talented gorgeous person.
Tori Amos....cuz she is awesome.
Brandon Boyd.....cuz he's one of the last beautiful boys on earth.
Courtney Love....cuz she needs her ass kicked.
Shirley Manson....cuz she is a bad ass.
Josh Homme....because he has THE sexiest voice in rock n roll
Jeff Buckley....cuz he feeds my soul.
..
My acting debut in a video by a band I managed for 4 years. I actually made it on IMDB as the "Hot Librarian" LOL

Anything that doesn't suck. I mean come on, how long would that question take to answer? I like all sorts really. Rock, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Goth Rock, Hard Rock, Rockabilly, Traditional/Honky Tonk Country, Bluegrass, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Blues...duh. I think I covered them all eh? Faves include David Bowie, Nina Simone, Fleetwood Mac and Stevie (Nicks, that is...), Coldplay, Steadman, ELO, NIN, Muse, Jeff Buckley (of course), Elliot Smith, Beck, Heart, BRMC, Leonard Cohen, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Edie Brickell, Allison Krauss, Garbage, Poe, The Kinks, PJ Harvey, Queen, Bad Company, QOTSA, Neil Young...and so many others that I really have to ponder it for a while... :-)
A Perfect Circle...RAWKS!
Another ridiculous question...but let's see, some that I've revisited recently that I love.....Star Wars Trilogy (the first one), The Illusionist, Goodfellas, American Beauty, Lord of the Rings, Interview with the Vampire, Men In Tights, The Jerk, Dracula, A Beautiful Mind, The Usual Suspects, O' Brother Where Art Thou?, Troy, Underworld, Good Will Hunting, History of The World, The Age of Innocence, This is Spinal Tap, Twister, Titanic, The Muppet Movie, Gladiator, The Princess Bride, From Dusk Til Dawn and The Scarlet Letter. I love films that make you think. And period films....especially soppy, romantic ones. Anything Mel Brooks or Monty Python totally cracks me up. And I love Vampires...
OK, my boyfriend and I got hooked on Rock of Love. How pathetic are we? But it's just so damn stupid. I mean, psychos and titty dancers fighting over Bret Michaels with his beer belly and stringy faux hair. That is some serious entertainment. LOL.Though I have a weakness for X-Files reruns at 4am, I am a firm believer that television sucks the life out of you and is evil....however I will often stop on a game of Texas Hold 'Em and I try to never miss my favorite SNL skits:
"Guess what? I got a fever...and the only prescription is more cowbell"
Or our favorite South Park Moments.....
The Theory of Evolution
"It's easy..m'kay?"
And I really miss the ingenius antics of The Muppet Show...
Manamana....
The Swedish Chef
Whose Line Is It Anyway
....makes me laugh out loud...every....single....time.
Boycotted books for a while - high school and college really wore me out on the "required" reading. I recently read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and plan to read Atlas Shrugged and The Mists of Avalon soon. Also love horror and suspense...Dean Koontz, Stephen King...The Talisman is one my favorites. And I don't care what anyone says, I love me some Harry Potter. I mean how much fun is that stuff to read? VERY! YAY, I love my inner 10 year old.
My Mom - for raising me to be such a strong woman.
My Dad - for giving me such a warped sense of humor.
And all of those who dare to enter the Lion's Lair...for I know I am a handful, but totally worth it! (thanks Mom!) ;-)
My friends and family are my heroes...those who have been there through thick and thin and still remain. And what is life without the people you share it with? Nada.
