Cynthia Eden

Author of paranormal suspense and erotic romance

About Me

I write paranormal suspense novels for Kensington Brava--my first Brava release, Hotter After Midnight, will be released in May of 2008. I also write erotic romance (usually with a paranormal flavor) for Avon Red and Red Sage Publishing. (And I've written two paranormal romances for ImaJinn Books.) I love creating strong characters who defy convention, and I particularly enjoy crafting stories that answer the immortal "What if?" question.

My Interests

Writing, reading, snorkeling, movie watching, treasure hunting, and a little bit of fortune telling.

I'd like to meet:

People who love romance books. And, if I could meet some famous folks from history, I'd pick Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, and Elvis Presley.

Music:

Very eclectic--depending on my mood, I'll listen to nearly anything. But I do have a soft spot for the Buffy Once More with Feeling soundtrack.

Movies:

Okay. I am a serious movie addict. I have far too many favorites to name, but I'll list a few: The Princess Bride, Romancing the Stone, The Mummy, Friday the 13th, The 300, Hellboy, Anacondas, Snakes on a Plane, The Empire Strikes Back.

Television:

Survivor, The Office, 30 Rock, Law & Order SVU, CSI, and The Medium.

Books:

Dream Man by Linda Howard, Dark Fire by Christine Feehan, Shield's Lady by Amanda Glass (Jayne Ann Krentz), Charmed and Echanted by Nora Roberts, Master of Wolves by Angela Knight, and really, many, many more...

Heroes:

People who stand up for what they believe in and do not sit idly by waiting for others to change the world.
