About Me
..
Sono lei che greets con fuoco. Amo fortemente ed appassionato. Se venite conoscerli, Lascerò una parte di me con voi per eternity. Non avrete controllo sopra il vostro desiderio per me.
I recently made the decision to see exactly how old I really looked on a bad day. So I grew all the highlights out of my hair, got myself a nifty set of bifocals (which I desperately needed, BTW), and cut all my hair off! Then I took a photo of myself, no make-up, no curls, no fluff, just all of my 45 (soon to be 46) years staring back at myself. And ya know what? I really don't mind aging. In fact, I kind of like the idea of not having to try and look good for someone. It's a no stress lifestyle, that's for sure! And it was a nice surprise to find out how little gray I really have in my hair. I was kind of worried what would show up when I grew out all my highlights, but it all worked out, so I'm cool with it.
I gave up trying to earn a living. Unfortunately, it doesn't always go the way I'd like it too....but I keep trying like hell. I love ice cream, cheesecake, and just about anything smothered in hot fudge or alfredo sauce! I'm a wino. If you want to get your way with me, build a cozy fire and open a good bottle of wine. I'm a touchy-feely person. I love to touch and be touched. I'd sacrifice anything for my children, I love them more than life. I'm not a religious person, but do consider myself to be spiritual. I have my own unique perspectives on God and religion which horrifies and upsets my mother, so I no longer voice my beliefs. She often tries to bait me into discussing them, since she is sure I will l burn in hell for my blasphemy and it's her job to save my soul... but that is another story entirely.
I'd rather be in the mountains than on a beach, because I get bored watching waves and I can't stand the way sand gets everywhere and sticks to everything! I hate to sweat and despise working out. I'm a pretty good cook, but not such a great housekeeper. I have a flair for decorating and floral arrangements. My driving could stand a little improvement. My eyesight is failing with age, but you really have to pick through my hair to find any gray whatsoever. I have a lot of jewelry but hardly wear any of it. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I said, ''I hate my hair!'' I wish I had another dollar for everytime I said, ''I hate my boobs!'' I'd rather eat brownies than cookies or cake. I need at least 2 cups of coffee to get me moving in the morning. My favorite snack food is popcorn. I wish I'd discovered microderm abrasion 10 years earlier. I'm grossed out by comb-overs and plastered hairspray head; if you're going to wear your hair long, it should be soft and touchable, so loose the pink can of Aqua Net or cut the nasty shit off!
I believe christmas should be viewed through the eyes of a child and I wish my children still believed in Santa. I can't stand ironing and have been known to re-rinse clothes and throw them back in the dryer in an attempt to avoid it. I am a cat person and tend to get annoyed by dogs that refuse to stop barking! The perfume I wear is either Tiffany or Panthere. I carry puzzle books in my car just incase I end up in a waiting room. I believe teachers, firemen, and policemen should make twice as much as they do....and I believe professional athletes and movie stars should make half of what they do. I think it's disgusting that new cars today cost as much as my first home did. I don't like to wear make-up and usually don't. I eat my vegetables, but could never give up meat entirely. I love the sound of a steady rain on the roof of my car, the smell of wood burning on a campfire, and the sensation of crisp clean linens on my bed. My biggest fear is having to bury one of my own children; and if you take the time to listen to my entire playlist, you'll hear a little bit of everything!
My political views are strongly held, but span both sides of the fence. I'm a supporter of gay rights, stem cell research, and an individual's right to die with dignity in their own way ... at their own time. I believe women should have the right to chose, but I also believe it should be at their own expense. There are simply too many of us that reject abortion on a moral and religious level to advocate the taxpayer's money paying for it. I believe the only way to address this country's health care system is to completely scrap it and start all over. I believe if the loosing party in civil cases had to pay the other parties attorney's fees, it would eliminate frivolous law suits. I believe insurance companies are nothing more than government sponsored racketeering, and most insurance executives should be prosecuted under the RICO statutes. I believe in means testing for social security benefits. The poor have to qualify for welfare checks, so why are rich retirees allowed to drain an already overburdened social security system?
That being said, I am a firm believer in the american spirit and the rights of individuals to take control of their own futures. I believe tax increases hurt small businesses and eliminates individualism; and once the little guy is gone, all you're going to have left to choose between is Walmart or Target. I support school vouchers; if the school systems had to compete for the state and federal money, they'd have an incentive to improve their district's educational system. I believe affirmative action is a failed experiment; and traditional welfare programs only serve to misplace the faith and spirit one has in their own self, thus lowering the standards for those seeking a convenient excuse to fall back on. I believe there is evil in this world that can only be contained by the use of force; therefore, I strongly support our military and the war on terrorism. I don't believe removing religion from our society serves any real purpose, but I guarantee you a loss of morality overall if the left wing's prohibition of religion continues. Finally, I believe unions served their purpose years ago when employees were exploited and forced to work in unsafe conditions for 16 hours a day; however, I believe most modern day unions exploit the consumer, demanding raises and benefits that the majority of us never receive and the end result is products which most of us can't afford to purchase. Consequently, I believe it is inevitable that most unions will eventually price themselves right out of jobs as the rest of us struggle to survive on less.
Last but not least, I have been the victim of cyber stalking since early 2005. The man stalking me is named Robert Lee Norton (Bob Norton) of Lexington, KY. He works at (get this) a women's college in Midway, KY. Although I have never met this man, he has searched all the real estate and public records in the county where I live gathering information about me. He has also searched the public records of every neighboring county, freely admited to hiring a private investigator to provide him with information on me, and has somehow gotten his hands on a copy of my drivers license. How do I know he's pulled my drivers license? Because he posted personal information contained on my license online. I can not be certain; however, I believe he has also pulled my credit history and was directly responsible for reporting my husband and I to the IRS for tax evasion. Fortunately we don't cheat on our taxes, so the 3 month ordeal was nothing more than a horrible inconvenience; however, knowing that Bob Norton made good on one of the many threats he's made against me and my family, I believe my fears of this man are justified.
Considering the nightmare this man has put me and my family through, I am a firm believer in updating our laws governing privacy issues and data mining. I don't believe just ANYONE should be able to access public records containing your personal information, drivers license history, credit report, or medical history. Since I never applied for any grants or loans through Midway College, nor did I have one of my children apply for acceptance to the school, I don't believe this glorified bill collector should have had any right to pull my personal information. In any other industry, I believe I would have had to have been notified and given my consent before having a background check done on me; therefore, I feel as if I have been raped by this man. Without my consent he forcibly stole every detail of my personal identity for his own amusement. In my book, that's no different than rape. Now I don't care if it's legal or not, it's wrong and it should be criminal.
Finally, I would like to ask the IT department and administrators of Midway College pull this mans hard drive. Someone needs to know just how many unauthorized, unnecessary, and unethical background checks he's done on women. In this day and age of computers and identity theft, someone at that school needs to know the true extent of liability Mr. Norton has exposed their college to, and they should be well aware of the potential litigation they may face in regards to his actions. Consequently, I am asking the administrators and alumni of Midway College join forces in protecting all the young women they have on campus from his intrusive prying and continued episodes of cyber stalking. I truly believe his actions should be monitored before Mr. Bob Norton seriously harms someone.
