I'll be watching. You'll do fine.

About Me

Single father of the two most beautiful, wonderful children on earth. I work nights, and spend all free time with my children. This leaves little time for my other personal needs. Until about two years ago, friends and coworkers always told me that I looked so young, ten years younger than I was. What I have been through since then has aged me, to say the least. A friend talked me into this, and I've become addicted to myspace. This site has introduced me to some great people, and I hope to see the relationships continue. Everybody's weekend sounds better than mine, more fun, more active, etc., unless I am with Benjamin and Audrey, because then I'm on top of the world. There isn't much on my page, but if you see anything that catches your attention, message me here, or Yahoo! IM @ loyalastrosfan. So, there it is.

My Interests

Good books and films. Outdoor activities. Cycling. Community activities/volunteer work, and the Astros. BTW, Barry Bonds is a chemical, and deserves no respect from MLB, or the sporting world. May his sack shrivel like raisins.

I'd like to meet:

Hmmm. I'd like to meet someone who lives around the corner, who likes to go fishing, hiking in the forest, and has no great expectations of me. Hahaha. I'm really looking to meet people here, anyone, friends and companions. Huntsville offers little in this area, because half the population consists of college students who rush away every Friday. I'd like to meet someone who has children, or cares about children. Being a parent changes you. FRED D. THOMPSON! Look him up at:http://www.freddthompsonforpresident.com/http://www.votet hompson.info/

Music:

Classic rock. I grew up in the 60s and 70s, and I love the music from the 50s thru the 80s and Hootie and the Blowfish, R&B, Detroit, pretty much all music prior to MTV.

Movies:

Armageddon, Dodgeball, Bruce Almighty, Glory, Platoon... The Natural, and most other baseball movies. Man On The Moon, Biloxi Blues. Cary Grant and Paul Newman movies. Few newer movies, but I like the Tom Harris the Indiana Jones, and all of Michael Crichton. The point, in Forrest Gump, where he meets his son just kills me. The Manchurian Candidate is a bit too much, if you've had a bit too much. LOL I have several hundred titles, and I enjoy all of them.

Television:

Saturday morning cartoons.

Books:

Harper Lee, Jose Saramago, John Grisham, Thomas Harris, James Patterson, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Michael Crichton, and much more.

Heroes:

My parents; my son and my daughter, and their mother; the EMS/Police/Fire and Rescue folks that deal with the worst things that life can offer; correctional staff who keep the freaks away from the decent people; Frank Castle; the people working construction on the dangerous highways, getting the job done; the brave men and women in the military; dedicated teachers; Fred D. Thompson; Phil Garner; again, my children. Oh, and George Malley.

ADHD info?

Hi. I don't blog, but I am having trouble with all of the information about how to diagnose and treat ADHD. My wonderful son, Benjamin, is so smart, yet his teacher says his behavior is becoming a pro...
