About Me

I moved all my photos to the "pics" section over there under my face, and videos too, go have a look! (__*__)I am a main person in town. A lot of people look to me to see what I am doing. There are people like me in every city on earth. I am one of them. There is no plan, there is no assignment. It's personality-based. My personality is that I do what I like and people with less personality or confidence can observe me and see that a confident person is doing a certain thing. They can then act like me in order to create safety.

Movies:

I've really been digging american films lately. Hector Babenco, Dusan Makavejev, Terrence Malick, all amazing. Five easy Pieces, other things. So.. when I was in highschool, the first three movies I made girls who wanted to hang around me watch were, Harold and Maude, Kids, Gummo, and sometimes Eraserhead. I like Larry Clark, he's from Tulsa, and thats fine for me. Harmony Korine is radical. I like most pre 80's death girl type japanese films. Troma movies are fun to watch. Factotum was good. I just re-watched Sweet Sweetbacks Sweetass Song, also, Dolemite. I like Valley Girl, Gayniggers from OuterSpace is a good one, Happiness, Bottle Rocket is wes andersons best movie. I've been watching a lot of docu's recently. Some of my favorite movies are old westerns, I really enjoy seeing Lee Van Cleef, his family history is interesting, and he always is trying to kill mr. eastwood. Any Sam Peckinpah movie = genius. I think the acting, while the situations are limited, in old b&w movies seem more honest. Felini is fine, Bunuel is better, watch au chien andalou. I like the French avant-garde movement. Bunuel's film Land Without Bread is also crazy interesting. Then more modern masterpieces I enjoy.. Body Heat is amazing, I like ALL of Jim Jarmusch's movies, from Stranger in Paradise to Dead Man, which is one of my top 5 favorite movies (lists are stupid but i just like to say that). The other night La Strada came on early in the morning. I couldnt stop watching and went to bed thinking. Gread quinn movie. The Rivers Edge is a movie I enjoy, Brazil is good too. Gus Van Zant pisses me off, and I dont like his movies. I understand its social commentary aspects but.. eh, no good. Repo Man is fucking awesome.. Slacker, any John Waters film, especially Female Trouble. I like good and awful horror movies (wolfen is cool). Dune is a fantastic movie, more fantastic if you've read the book (which seems rare). American Psycho and Bully are good.(not related). There are more.. and I most likely wont update this. so.. go watch Ken Park. and get back to me.

Television:

I prefer movies, but tim and eric's awesome show great job is, well, great. Also, tom goes to the mayor, the state, liquid television, most anything on PBS, that POV special was good the other night, frontline, nova, nature, Bill Moyers, John MacLaughlin, I like edutainment shows. and porno, lots of porn. I dont actually own any porn really, (just one tape) but I find it a fascinating business, and the more crazy it is the more I enjoy it. Sasha Grey is pretty cool..

Books:

These are illusions of popular history which a successful religion must promote: Evil men never prosper; only the brave deserve the fair; honesty is the best policy; actions speak louder than words; virtue always triumphs; a good deed is its own reward; any bad human can be reformed; religious talismans protect one from demon possession; only females understand the ancient mysteries; the rich are doomed to unhappiness . . .so many its not fair.. cormac mcarthy is the greatest living american author. so go read blood meridian. he has a new one coming out, first in 7 years, next month. oh, and the bible.

Heroes:

Steven Paul Seikel, maybe Noam Chomsky, he's almost as smart as me.
