When Chris and Kim Lindell started making music together, they spent many long days in the wild lands of Joshua Tree rock, climbing high, playing guitars and writing songs out in the empty desert. They quietly lay their hands on a towering headstone, innocent of the legendary specter of Gram Parsons’ incendiary farewell, keenly aware of some transmission from beyond, as the dusty windswept monument played a part in shaping their music. Under the radar, running it out and laying it on the line, the Lindells’ music is a singular, haunting, labor of love, rare self-taught talent and intense, powerful expression.
Living most of their lives in the high mountains has left an indelible tattoo on the Lindell's music. Their signature songs are born of the wild places of the American West, creating a rich landscape of sound.
