Selecta Nagga Fire é um dos elementos / fundador pertencentes ao colectivo Concrete Jungle SoundSystem oriundos de Almada. Nagga Fire é um dos grandes impulsionadores do movimento e cultura REGGAE na Margem Sul do Tejo , mais concretamente em Almada e Costa de Caparica. Selecta NAGGA FIRE começando desde 2003/04 a organizar pequenos eventos em bares de praia tais como hula hula bar , sabor a praia, casa da praia , kokada bar etc , levando a cabo uma missão de conseguir divulgar o melhor do Reggae music . Assim com toda a força e o apoio desta forte familia que nos tem acompanhado desde sempre na nossa batalha , ai começaram a surgir ideias de convidar selectas amigos que ja estavam na área ha algum tempo a bombar , contando também com o grande apoio da "TRIBUS URBANAS & Weedub crew (Xanomano & Gramasso) , RIDDIM CULTURE (Jahlé/Papajuju/Ayala /Jahwise/Jahwal )e da CREW HASSAN ( Renas / Marisa / Fernando etc..) Selecta Nagga Fire decide entao formar o seu próprio colectivo (CONCRETE JUNGLE SOUNDSYSTEM ) . Actualmente Selecta Nagga Fire está a lançar o seu novo projecto a solo fazendo uma dupla com o grande toaster BDJOY . *******Selecta Nagga Fire conta já com inumeras actuações um pouco por todo o pais e tambem na europa, em especial no "FESTIVAL AVIS A RASGAR 2007" onde actuou ao lado de grandes artistas internacionais tais como ,TONY REBEL ( Jamaica ) , WARRIOR KING ( Jamaica ) , CAÑAMAN ( Espanha ) , RAS ISSAKAR THE FRENCH LION ( França )entre outros. Em Novembro de 2008 tem o enorme prazer de ser convidado pela Taking Over Productions para abrir o concerto de ANTHONY B + KUSSONDULOLA. Também ja teve a oportunidade de partilhar o palco com a banda nacional ONE LOVE FAMILY fazendo o warm up durante a reçepção ao caloiro da U.A.L. e também partilhou o palco com a lenda do STUDIO ONE " ALPHEUS " e KUSSONDULOLA no evento REGGAE JAM DOWN. Noutra ocasião tambem ja partilhou o palco com o number One ina di Portugal o grande fundador , SELECTA PAPA PAULO & Ras da Mula no Dómus em Lisboa. Em Maio de 2008 na festa da MGM ( Marcha Global da Marijuana ) e o aniversário da CREW HASSAN , Nagga Fire teve a oportunidade de partilhar o palco com BROTHER CULTURE ( Zion Train / Trojan Soundsystem / Roots Garden ) e RAS DANIEL RAY ( Jamaica / Françe ) Nagga Fire foi um dos partiçipantes no 1º Clash na Tuga 2008. Em 2008 destaca- se a 1º internacionalização / actuação em ESPANHA/MADRID na SALA SIROCO a convite de MAD SENSI BAND /CAÑAMAN E RAS KUKO integrando assim um encontro ibérico de reggae tocando ao lado de MAD SENSI BAND E RAS KUKO. ( muchas gracias a Ayatimas management / Ras Kuko / Victoria and Bratt). Em Maio de 2008 Nagga Fire organiza uma pequena tour em Portugal fazendo o Back up para o grande artista Françes , Ras Issakar Natanjah The French Lion passando por casas tais como Contagiarte no Porto , Chã das Eiras no Porto , Dómus e Crew Hassan em Lisboa. Nagga Fire em Outubro de 2008 junta-se á crew de DJS pertençente á CREW HASSAN * CREW HASSAN DJS * integrando assim uma equipa de djs de vários estilos estando a representar a área do Reggae. A todos um grande OBRIGADO pelo apoio que tem demonstrado ao longo desta jornada ( em especial á namorada SISTA CÁTIA ) BIGGGGG UUUPPPNuff respect a todos os soundsystem e selectas em Portugal por continuarem a acreditar no movimento e um big up a todos que continuam a espalhar a mensagem do Reggae music . JAH BLESS...**************************************************** ************ ENGLISH VERSION:Selecta Nagga Fire is one of the co-founders of “Concrete Jungle SoundSystem” group that was created in Almada City (South of Lisbon). Nagga Fire is one of the main promoters of Reggae Culture and Reggae Movement in Almada and Costa de Caparica. Nagga Fire made many performances throughout Portugal, particularly in the “Festival Avis a Rasgar 2007”, where it has performed side by side with great international names such as: “Tony Rebel ( jamaica)”,”Warrior King (jamaica)”, “Canaman (spain)”, “Ras Issakar Natanjah The French Lion ( france)”. In November 2008 have the great pleasure to be invited by Taking Over Productions for the opening concert of ANTHONY B + Kussondulola. It has also played on stage with the national band , “One Love Family”, doing the warm-up session. Nagga Fire has also shared the stage with the Studio One legend – "Alpheus” and 1º Reggae band in Portugal “Kussondulola on the "Reggae Jam Down Event" and play side by side with the number one selecta in Portugal the big foundation Mr.Selecta PapaPaulo ( nuff respect ) In May of 2008 Nagga Fire share the stage in the Marijuana fest / Crew Hassan birthday party , with BROTHER CULTURE ( Zion Train / Trojan Soundsystem / Roots Garden ) and RAS DANIEL RAY ( Jamaica / Françe ) . Nagga participate ina 1ºSound Clash on Portugal. Selecta Nagga Fire in 2008 was performing too in SPAIN /MADRID in SALA SIROCO with MAD SENSI BAND & RAS KUKO . Nagga Fire has organised several musical events on several beach bars like the “Hula-Hula”, “Sabor a Praia”, “Casa da Praia”, “Kokada Bar” and so on. Our mission to promote the best of Reggae music on our SoundSystem trend, has led us to invite some friends that were like us “pumping” for some time. We had a strong support by “Tribus Urbanas & Weedub crew” (Xanomano) and the Riddim Culture Soundsystem (Jahlé, Papajuju, Ayala) and Crew Hassan ( Renas , Marisa , Fernandinho) Then Nagga Fire decided to create its own crew – Concrete Jungle SoundSystem-. Today Concrete Jungle includes Selecta NaggaFire, Selecta Mártino , Selecta Cabeleira , and Bdjoy ( microfone) and this group is in full shape to shake any young audience with good mood, positive energy and cool Reggae sound. Selecta Nagga Fire has also performed as resident artist on several bars such as “Picasso Bar” and CREW HASSAN ( nuff respect ). The new project of Selecta Nagga Fire” is to set-up a duet composed by a selecta and a toaster, to give a new trend to the SoundSystem. It is currently working on a new project making a duet with the great toaster “Bdjoy”. Nagga Fire in October of 2008 joins the crew of DJS belonging to CREW HASSAN DJS * * integrating a team of djs of various styles, he represent the area of Reggae Music.
