Dead Stone is a death metal band who started on July 2002 with Hamza vocals and Idir on guitar (childhood friends) they gathered in order to play a death metal musicOn February 2003, Mohamed on a drums and Zoubir on a bass join the band.
The four members appeared for the first time on September 30th 2004 at At ibn zaydoune audience on the Algerian scene.
Two months later, the band takes part on the third edition of Lelahel festival at Algeria cinema, they realised the first part of the Algerian legendary band litham
On October, Idir on guitar aka franky joined also the line up, and takes part with the rest of the band in the fourth edition of the lelahel festival, they make the first part of the French Hardcore band (slavery) and the grindcore band CARNAVAGE from Algiers.
On April 20th 2006, Dead stone go up on scene for the fourth time, with the participation of CARNAVAGE and Rahdj
This period knew also the inner crisis of the line up, because three of the members leave the band, so Mohamed and franky formed DEVAST, and ZOUBIR (on a bass) who joined also his former band of heavy metal.
The dead stone founders still continued to create a hard music with their own vision which is different from the actual tendency of death metal.
On January 2007, they called there friends Zoubir (bass) to unite with Hichem (drums) to join the band and pushed the DEAD STONE orientation in more aggressiveness, energy, grooves & feelings
On April 11th 2007 at ibn zaydoune, the band participate in the modern musical day with darkwish and rahdj.The band expect to carry out their first album called: THE INVERTED
CRYPTS OF PANDEMONIUM.
The track: SAKARAT, witch dates since 2005 is recorded at the YUGURTEN
STUDIO in Azazga W.TIZI OUZOUSAKARAT
